Foodie sidenote: Rothenburg specialises in Schneeballen which are delicious balls of shortcut pastry often dipped in coconut, chocolate or cinnamon sugar.... 😋 So I think we were maybe won over via our stomachs too 😂

While Budapest has been a great destination for my "mystery" birthday weekend, I would have equally happily gone to the dodgy end of Wandsworth as long as this guy (+ Gary Gnomad!) was by my side 😂 Truth be told though, it has been a pleasure to experience the incredible architecture, scenery, Christmas vibes, food and freezing temperatures this city has offered 😍👌

P.S. Pictured behind us is the Hungarian Parliament. This stunning building just so happens to be the third largest parliament in the world and cost so much to build that an entire city housing 40,000 people could have been made with the money instead.... 😱🙈

I'm traveling to work.
So if it takes time to respond, forgive me.
Today is a special one because on this day 9 whole years ago (!!!!!) I met this amazing man 😍 Let's face it, we were practically just kids back then 😂 But over these past 3285 days we've grown together - better, stronger, closer with each day 💑 He is many things, but one of particular note is that he is my ultimate travel buddy👌🌍

He loves the planning I hate (like finding accommodation), he tempers my ambitious itineraries, he knows when I need coffee, he finds the funny side in every shambolic disaster, he is always up for sampling local cuisine (no matter how weird), and best yet he is always with me whenever I suggest something mad (like spontaneously booking flights to India, climbing Malaysia's highest mountain, scrambling up a cliff face to check out a rock, or leaping over gates and fences and barbed wire to view a certain castle.... 🙈😳😁)

There is simply gnomeone else I'd rather do these adventures of life with and I can't wait to see what else is in store for us 😍👫
