Именно сегодня зажигают фонарики для того, чтоб осветить дорогу на небо душам умерших родственников 🏮.
⠀ ⠀ В этот день проводят самые фееричные фестивали и сооружают фонарики различных форм и размеров, таких как у меня за спиной ☺️. Улицы вечером горят самыми яркими красками 😍.

I CLEARLY don’t squat with enough volume or intensity because...holy crap...this was some of the most squatting I’ve done in one session (ever).

🏋🏽♀️ Chinese weightlifting squat form explained:
- barbell must be high on your back, at the base of the neck
- having a back arch is good (weight must be felt in the lower back and upper back)
- chest must be as open as possible. Think about driving your shoulders up towards the ceiling when you come up. Elbows should also be down
- descent must be controlled, not a fast drop. Ascent should be explosive.
- weight should be distributed evenly throughout the foot, particular through the mid-foot
- knees out and allow them to travel forward. You are squatting straight down, so hips should not shoot back first.
- MOST IMPORTANT FORM CUE (Coach Hong was very insistent we get this correct before moving up in weight)...there must be an accurately timed ‘bounce’ out of the bottom of the squat. It must also be super controlled. Many people would oppose doing this because of injury risk but it transfers best to catching a squat clean. It teaches you to keep tension EVEN with a bounce because otherwise you’re not going to be able to stand back up.

- 2x5 @ 70kg
- 3x3 @ 90kg
- 3x3 @ 100kg
- 3x2 @ 110kg
- 3x1 @ 120kg
- 3x5 @ 90kg

Also note: squatting like this is not how they usually train. They will squat consistently at about 85% for multiple sets of 3. They only do singles if they’re feeling really good or if they’re close to competition.
