It feels lovely to take a break from a noisy city and chill in a farm house surrounded by 30 acres of palm trees and mango groves. When Manasvi(@thetastingspoon )sent me an invite to visit her farmhouse,I was excited but a little confused because for me visiting Kutch was just about staying near the Rann.I am happy I did some research and stayed in Anjar,Bhuj and the luxury Bhungas and Tents so I got to experience a farmstay which added more variety to my experience.
Kutch is HUGE and there are so many things to see, this farm house in Anjar is perfect to explore the tie and dye villages and the block printing factories. Her dad is an amazing host and extremely well connected locally and stuffed me with the all the yummy local delicacies 😀

A Baya Weaver at work, in process of creating a wonderfully woven nest. These 15 cm little birds, weighing a bit over 150 gm are master craftsmen as they create beautiful nests to attract their mates.
The photo quality is a bit low as this is an old photo from the times when I used point and shoot camera.
Has anyone seen similar marvels in the animal kingdom? Let us know in the comments.
