  • s u n d a y 👉🏻 b a c k d a y✔️ this morning was the first morning for a long time that I felt energized and really hyped for a workout - oh how I’ve missed that feeling💃🏻 hope you’re having an amazing Sunday❣️

Only had about an hour to get into the gym today and was craving some.time under the bar. 🙃
.
Did about 5 sets of 4 at 115lb and then pushed it 5 reps for my last set, ended the day with a single at 125 that was hella fast #zoomzoom Completed some double unders between each set to keep my heart rate elevated 👌🏋🏼‍♀️
.
Bench was definitely the first lift to go when I stopped lifting heavy consistently, which of course can be a little frustrating.🙄 But I'm just glad to be able to move the weight consistently and maintain muscle. 😊

if y’all know me, you know I’m always all over the place, running here and there, talking 1,000,000 miles a minute, typically just hyped for no reason.

well, I realized yesterday that when it comes to the gym, I’m typically just as energized, but I’m very meticulous about anything fitness/gym/nutrition related.

for example)
yesterday, I had ample amounts of time to workout. so I decided to do legs. k. makes sense.
.
well halfway thru my workout, I realized something 👀
👉🏼 I had written my training plan out to where I used the machines in the back first, and worked my way to the front, and then the left side so the weight area, without even realizing it until I was actually doing it 🧐
like W T F 😂
.
I’m moving around this gym like an efficient mom in a MF grocery store 😂 🛒
.
THEN, I started paying attention to how I set up each lift and it’s the same story.
detail-oriented,
typically in front of a mirror so I can peep my form,
etc.
.
y’all, I AM NOT, I repeat, AM NOT an organized person,
unless it involves my workout plans, my food schedule/macros, my workout outfits/supplies, supps, or just fitting my workouts into my schedule.
believe it or not, the rest of my life is a chaotic, spontaneous, mess 🤪
.
moral of the story?
fitness has taught me organization and prioritizing, and that’s just another reason why I fucking love this lifestyle (pardon my French, or don’t 🤷🏽‍♀️)
.
