  • Been adding in cardio at the beginning of my workouts lately and I’m honestly loving the change, I always used to do it at the end of my workout (or not at all hehe) but I needed something different and to spice things up because doing the same thing at the gym is boring I feel, always have to keep things spicy and exciting 🌶🌶 HIIT and cardio have been a big priority of mine in the gym lately, also I’m starting to think the winter fluff and snackaroonis are getting to me lmao 😂I’m extremely excited to start seeing some change 💪🏽 don’t be afraid to spicy things up and get out of your comfort zone!!! It might surprise you 💓

Hold yourself accountable .

Work Hard .

Eat right
.
Rest up
.
.
These things are very easy to do, and just as easy not to do. .

You already know most of these things. .
.
There are going to be countless times where you feel like shit and run down and you just won’t go. Those are the workouts that make the difference. Both mentally and physically. You’ll think to yourself “missing a couple days this week wont make a difference.” (I think the same thoughts) And then you make the same decision the following week and the following. .
.
Now you’re back to where you started.
.
Don’t give in to that shit
.
It’s making that seemingly insignificant choice day after day that will make the difference in the long run. .

If you never quit, success is inevitable.

Llega un momento en tu vida en que finalmente te das cuenta... Cuando en medio de todos tus miedos e insania te detienes de repente en tu camino y en algún lado tu voz interior grita: ¡Basta!

Basta de pelear, de llorar y forcejear para mantenerte en ese lugar. Entonces tu sollozo se apaga, te limpias las lágrimas y comienzas a mirar el mundo a través de nuevos ojos. Esto, es tu despertar.

Te das cuenta que llegó el tiempo de dejar de esperar y esperanzarte por los cambios, la felicidad, la seguridad o la protección que van a venir a tu encuentro alguna vez.

Llegas a la conclusión de que ella o él no es princesa o príncipe y, de que tú no eres Cenicienta o Ceniciento; que en el mundo real no siempre hay finales justos -o comienzos- y de que cualquier garantía de "felicidad eterna" comienza únicamente por ti mismo... y durante este proceso, una sensación de serenidad nace de la aceptación.

Te despiertas a la realidad de que nos eres perfecto, y los demás no siempre van a amar, apreciar o aprobar quién eres, y eso está bien.

Paras de criticar y maldecir a otras personas por las cosas que te hicieron o dejaron de hacer, y aprendes que lo único con lo que cuentas es lo inesperado.

Aprendes que la gente no siempre dice lo que piensa o piensa lo que dice. Y que no todos van a estar para ti, y que no siempre se trata de ti. Entonces aprendes a sostenerte por ti mismo y a cuidarte... y en el proceso nace la confianza.

  • There seems to be a common misconception that when you are injured the best thing to do is "nothing." However, nothing is the worst thing you can do in order to heal an injury. An injured animal doesn't stay stagnate unless it's incapable of moving. It finds ways to keep moving.  Movement is life. ⁣

Depending on the severity of the injury, the best thing you can do is "move." During a rehabilitation process the objective isnt to rest, the objective is to program an activity level appropiate for recovery and growth without stressing the injured are too much.⁣
.⁣
I am currently suffering from a knee injury and it is no coincidence that my knee feels better after I spend an hour moving with purpose. The difference is I am aware of my injury and know there will be limitations to my movements.  Ideal movements for my current state would be anything that is low impact for my knee such as an Assault Bike.  It is a movement that isnt weight bearing and helps put my knee through full ROM while exercising the surrounding muscle groups to bring new oxygen and blood to the injured joint. ⁣

The next time you are injured dont use that as excuse not to move.  Get your injury evaluated properly and find ways to move to speed up the recovery process. ⁣
