  • Not my work!  I just helped.  This was the final practice project my apprentice @mark_grenier_  was working on before he left... a small whiskey cabinet. Inspired in part by the work of @anneofalltrades and @pekovichwoodworks  Mark had almost everything done except for the door being finished and hung, and the back paneling attached.  I got those things wrapped up last week and now this project is being donated to the highschool he came from @gregorythegreatacademy  It turned out beautiful and is a nice completion to a year of teaching and learning. #apprenticeship #whiskey #kitchencabinets #scotch

  • Haven’t used a power tool in awhile and it’s been extremely educational. Starting to understand grain better. Starting to understand sandpaper isn’t necessary if your tools are sharp. Most importantly learning to be more patient. When I come back to my table saw, I think I’ll appreciate it as much more of a convenience than I did before.
