This is so real! As a child you don’t understand this. As you mature and live life you realize that your mother was doing the best she could. She didn’t intentionally pass her pain to you but she didn’t know what else to do with it. Hurt people hurt people and I don’t know a single black person who was going to therapy back in the day. We all have some mommy and daddy issues but at some point you have to take responsibility for your own pain and heal. You’re 30+ sis, stop blaming your stuff on everyone else. Go forth and heal. I promise you’ll thrive! .
