No joke I made it last night and it was finished by 11:30am this morning, soooo good!!! It’s originally from @thugkitchen but I adapted it to fit my wack diet
This long weekend has felt really nice but I usually give myself weekends off from working out since I do so much during the school week butttt I’m bad at relaxing & always feel like I should be doing more 😅
DEETS:
Walnut Banana Bread
1/4 cup @birchbenders paleo waffle mix (trust me)
1/4 cup almond flour
1/4 cup coconut flour
2 cups oat flour
4 mashed bananas
1 3/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup almond/ nondairy milk
1/3 cup maple syrup
3 tbs olive oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
Handful raisins
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients together in med. bowl
In a glass, mix the apple cider vinegar with nondairy milk
Mash bananas & mix with maple syrup, olive oil, vanilla, add milk mixture & stir, add flour mixture and mix until no dry spots, stir in walnuts & raisins (sprinkle some on top too!)
Cook for 40-45 min at 350!

  • Tuesdays are a busy day, so Monday always involves prep! Managed to bash together this gorgeous @jamieoliver recipe for Mexican Chilaquiles with Coddled Eggs AND tomorrows night’s dinner in my @thermomixuk, whilst also cleaning the house, and laundering minis @bibado collection (aka - bib lifesavers). On Maternity Leave, still an overachiever 😉 *she says lying on the floor exhausted*

  • @nushfoods almond yogurt + @manilife_ deep roast, crunchy (of course) PB + berries makes for my go to 4PM snack everryyyday. I’ll switch between Nush and COYO to keep things interesting, but always reach for a high fat snack late afternoon to avoid a blood sugar spike, and keep me going until dinner. I don’t eat tonnes of fruit, however I’ll always have a handful of berries to cram in those antioxidants and a fabulous low sugar option ✨🌿 Had the day off today, a fabulous start to the week if I do say so. Spent it shopping and eating poke, then retreated to study for the latter part of the day. I have my first big test of my human nutrition qualification next week, so It’s wall to wall mind maps and a lot of post its.

  • 5 Steps to Dial in Your Nutrition
1.Make sure you’re eating nutrition dense food.

Making sure you’re getting your micro nutrients as well as your macro nutrients are key to feeling full, getting your vitamins, and getting the fiber that you need so that your digestive system and your immune system can work properly.

2.Drink you water!
A lot of the times we over eat because we’re thirsty, so make sure that you’re getting your proper hydration for the amount of water you need in your body. The way to estimate this is to drink half of your bodyweight.
3.Get your fiber in!
We’re not a protein deficient society. Although protein is important, it’s very hard to become protein deficient. However, we are a fiber deficient society, therefore getting in the recommended 25 to 30 g of fiber is crucial in digestion, weight loss, and to feel that full feeling.
4.Try to eat as clean and organic as possible.

Choosing foods that are organic or that you wash is very important due to all the pesticides that we use in the United States. It’s also really important that you limit the amount of processed foods in your diet because a lot of those things have been linked to disease and illness. Plus it’s just not real!
5.Stop stressing so much.

Stressing about everything you eat at every second of the day gives off the wrong type of stress in your body. This type of stress actually makes you gain weight or halts your weight loss progress. So just listen to your body, eat as clean as possible, but also have moderation and then everything will come together.

  • 📅 FOOD PLANNER 📅
•
•
¿ME ACOMPAÑAIS?

  • It’s so simple yes, almost too simple, like “Really that’s it?” Yep!!! Just eat foods that nature makes naturally. This would mean a lot of whole foods:
- Vegetables
- Fruits
- Nuts
- Seeds
- Herbs & Spices
- For the meat eaters: make sure it’s high quality grass-fed, organic and wild fish.
.
.
Monday motivation: eat as natural as possible, that’s it!
.
.
.
All the “Do’s and Don’ts” list is in my first book #TheEarthDiet

  • These ✨SECRET INGREDIENT✨ snack balls [recipe below] are a girls best friend- literally! The perfect blend of hormone balancing, pregnancy and postpartum friendly ingredients, so great for giving our female bodies the nourishment they need at any stage.

What’s the secret ingredient? 💓Beets! I started sneaking in more beets after learning that according to TCM they help to build blood (plant based iron option!) which I was doing to try to bring back and regulate my period. I’ve since realized that this continues to be essential during pregnancy to keep blood flowing to the uterus and for recovery postpartum! They’re different from other recipes I’ve tried because they don’t contain ✖️grains - which can be inflammatory. Packed with lots of healthy fats✔️ and fiber✔️they’re great for everything from hormone balance to building healthy mamas and babies to lactation support!

To make👇🏻
Mix, roll into bite size balls and freeze:
1.5 c almond butter
1/2 c ground flax seeds
1/2 c raw shredded coconut
Pinch sea salt
1/2 c chocolate chips
1/4 c hemp seeds
1 tbsp beet powder
1 tbsp raw honey ⚠️WARNING: don’t be surprised if you eat half the “dough” before they make it to the freezer! 😉#alltheverdure
