  • I know I look poised and graceful here - BUT it's a lie.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With a heavy rainstorm the night before, Lone Creek Falls was pumping when we arrived the next morning. So much so that my camera was getting wet from the spray (Greg was standing quite a bit away when he took this shot) and the rocks were slippery AF.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Thankfully, there was a group of strangers around to watch me slip and slide around nature in a very undignified and ungraceful manner until my butt found THE ROCK and I had my spot.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I'm super surprised I didn't eat rock for brunch, to be honest.

  • That moment when you realize you have so many wonderful photos that captured little snippets from a weekend well spent in the desert.🌵

It’s been awhile since I’ve had a pack this heavy on my back, but I truly enjoyed every moment of it. There’s something so liberating about carrying everything you need on your back. It makes me think about just how little we need to actually survive. For me, the people that I have in my life are far more important than the things I have sitting around my house. Spending quality time with the people that matter the most to me really fills my heart with joy. Spending that quality time exploring outside makes it even more special.✨
