After finishing another song (watch out, it'll be coming online soon) I'm starting this year's BBQ season with my fiancée, of course with free range pigs, chickens ans some free range corn cobs. 😄 Also trying out the camera on my new mobile phone after my old one suddenly decided to cross the Styx. Always nice to get an upgrade but not nice to be forced to buy one. 😏

Gooey chocolate chip cookies🍪
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
225g unsalted butter
200g brown sugar
100g white sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg yolk
140g chocolate chips 🌸Combine flour, salt and baking powder and set aside. Now brown the butter by placing it in a saucepan and melting it on medium heat while stirring until little brown bits appear on the bottom. Weigh the melted butter again and add water until it reaches 225g. Then cool it off to room temperature.
After cooled, transfer the butter to a mixing bowl and add both sugars and the vanilla extract. Beat the mixture together until it is light and cream (for a few minutes). Stir in the egg and the egg yolk until fully combined. Add in the flour mixture and mix. Then mix in the chocolate chips with a spatula.
Line a baking pan with baking paper. Use an ice cream scoop of your hands to make evenly sized dough balls (about 4-5 cm large). Place these balls on the baking pan and cool in the fridge for 1-2 hours. (TIP: after cooling the scooped dough in the fridge, place them into a freezer safe box for up to a year! This means you can make a bunch of them at one point and bake them throughout the whole year. You just have to bake them (for about 2 minutes longer) or even microwave a few a them in a mu

After our second dinner experience at @intervalmke , our impression of it is much clearer...& ultimately we are still obsessed/impressed. Really nice assortment of courses, memorable & flavorful veggie dishes & creative methods of preparation (but foolproof nonetheless; i.e. sous vide cooked ribeye/egg yolk is going to be perfect every single time)... very thoughtful portions, & I can’t tell you how much I appreciate leaving a meal feeling happily satisfied, rather than stuffed & couch-bound. @intervalmke we’ll be back soon for coffee, cocktails, brunch, dinner—you name it!! 👏🏻👏🏻 sample menu shown in last photo
Do you know how freakin’ hard it is to take a pic like this?! Keep your hand lookin’ chill and relaxed — meanwhile, you’re craning your neck to make sure the food is even in the frame. Long story short: I basically looked like T-Rex while taking this, and it’s a blessing you’re only seeing the “after” pic 🙏🏼😭
Aaaand back to these bars. Easiest recipe ever: pour 1 jar @kweenandco chocolate granola butter into a 8x8 baking dish, top with @baresnacks banana and coconut chips, freeze for an hour. Ba da bing, ba da BOOM 💥👊🏼
