Ceiling of Shah Jahan Mosque's dome is one of the most magnificent pieces of architecture I've seen. I could spend days here looking at the details in the artwork.
It's 2 hours drive from Karachi, and you can get to visit the Makli Necropolis, which is only a couple of kilometers from the mosque.
Sitting on a frozen lake and thinking about how grateful I am to have been able to see this very much real and beautiful side of Pakistan! 😊
At the same time thinking about how unfair it is, particularly in the last few days, that the media rarely ever shows this side, instead always blaming the country, over exaggerating and overreacting to every single event 😬 It’s heartbreaking to see that this keeps on happening every time something happens. All I can say is don’t always believe what you hear out there about Pakistan because it doesn’t show you everything, and most of the time it’s biased and just blaming things without evidence 😕

Throwback to Areesha’s sightseeing around Sheosar lake in summers. 🇵🇰❤️ -
Go where you feel most alive. We must dance and move and stretch and run and fall into the knowingness that we are alive. Sometimes we forget this. Other times it gets tougher for us to make it happen. One bad day doesn't mean all the days would be bad. Do. Can't do it , ask help. Just ask. Ask for guidance, ask for that raise, ask for that introduction. People are wired to want to help each other. Do anything you love and reach somewhere. Somewhere , where every thing would give you signs & clues to stop and stay . If you get the signs & clues then be very sure that you STOP & you STAY.
