Living life on the edge… LITERALLY
:::: Because BF did not want to help me on what he deemed a “suicide mission” to take a photo in the middle of the highway... but I can still live my badass dreams in my imagination right? 🙃 #molllifiedit
No joke, Rover @rovercomeover just sat right there and posed for me 😂 I was trying to do a watercolor painting of the ocean so I think he thought if he sat in front of me it would distract me for some attention. SPOILER: it worked! 🌟🐶🌟 #rovercomeover
Twilight may be my favorite time for photography. What’s yours?

With the taste of bitter defeat in my mouth I took the long route back to the motel to pick up the minions - so much fun to be had at Fisherman's Wharf... 😩 But I get it - it's a novelty for them and I'll use that as leverage to get time later for photos. 🤔
So while no cliff-side dramatic sunset shots down south, I stopped again at Sutro Park on the way back for one last scouting, and found this to be a worthy shot. I took it in panorama mode, which looks great at 16 x 9 on the computer screen, but had to crop as you see it, to show more betterer here on IG. Directly to my right is the Cliff House Restaurant and Bar.
By the time I get back to the Marina District (where we're staying) the sun will be set, so I'm hoping to get a blue hour shot of the Palace of Fine Arts. If you never heard of it, look it up - very cool structure. Then, if I get the shot I'm hoping to get of it, you can compare my version to what you saw. Then I'll accept a fist bump.
That's Ocean Beach, stretching all the way down south, paralleled by the Great Highway. To the left you can just see the far end of Golden Gate Park. In the distance is the Sunset District of SF, and even further beyond is the town of Daly City. Way off to my left are the Farallon Islands.
They are about 30 miles away and I can just see them. They are a national wildlife refuge and are closed to the public. Things they are known for are the amount of great white sharks found off their waters and the amount of shipwrecks. Only 3 people have been known to swim to them, with the orhers presumably having been eaten by the sharks.
