Shot this at the same lake/park as that previous pic. This framing took me some time to get right. I tried moving in, moving more further and at the end ended at this particular frame. .

  • There’s a natural instinct for the hunt, and the ultimate gratifying effect of a takedown. The consistent urges that build within, especially towards accomplishments of personal goals. Your heart beats out of your chest and the endorphins flow so strongly into your brain, you feel the bloods warmth along your spinal cord as it rushes to your head. This feeling is unmatched and this is why we consistently hunt. Not just for food but, for money, for desires, for career paths, for significant others, for ultimate gain. However, what happens to someone when they’ve grown immune towards these feelings? When they have completely become so accustomed to the takedown and finish that, its converted into second nature? What more can we hunt? And the answer to that question is the key to YOUR version of happiness. You can’t turn off the hunt but you can shift it towards finding a small measure of peace. Many of us seek this attainment but few of us are able to slow our lives down to truly grasp our surroundings. If Father Time teaches us that, we must act accordingly by seizing our opportunities as they may only come once in a lifetime...Mother Earth teaches us that once we’ve recognized our precious opportunity...we can’t allow it to overpower our psychological make up. Because, she is way greater than us...above else, we’re just a small composite when compared to the big picture. We amount to a microscopic particle that comes and goes however, the almighty Mother is eternal. She birthed our Gods and prophets, she’s also provided us with tools, ingredients and other means in order to prosper however, every so often she shows us things that have no explanation. There’s beauty in her mysterious ways. Even the most vicious of hunters can suspend their desires, just to look up and admire her unattainable and unexplained signs of rarity. #vscocam
