This is an example of centripetal (circular) motion. The liquid stays in the glass because of inertia, it wants to fly off from the circle, but the glass gets in the way and keeps it in place. This is the same effect you feel when you go around a tight corner in the car and get squished against the door.

Tuck and Syd started the first week of their six week Mindfulness Matters for Youth series today! It is designed to help young children develop healthy habits. They’ll learn what mindfulness is, how to use mindfulness on a daily basis, calming yoga poses, simple breathing and relaxing techniques, storytelling, and the power of imagination for mindful journeys. Eek!
