  • We think you have heard about Ajino-moto seasoning which is used to enhance the taste. If not, then you definitely remember the scandal and the prohibition of Maggie noodles few years back?

It’s all about Monosodium glutamate or MSG, also known as sodium glutamate, E621.

MSG, as a food additive has gained quite a controversial reputation, considering the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has received many anecdotal reports of adverse reactions to foods containing MSG.
Some of the hazards that were reported included- asthma, migraine, headaches, skin irritations , sweating, dizziness, flushing, facial pressure or tightness, numbness, chest pain, nausea, weakness and heart palpitations, so, FDA requires every packaged food product containing E621 to be listed on the label.

Here are some of the foods that may contain MSG:
•	Packaged fried potato chips
•	Protein powders
•	Popcorns (as on photo)
•	Most seasonings
•	Packaged meat products
•	Canned foods
•	Soy sauces
•	Parmesan cheese
•	Dipping sauces
•	Salted snacks

We don't realize how much we are consuming on a daily basis. The flavor enhancer make stale, flavorless and poor quality “foods” taste nice.
This colorless, odorless powder is very cheap and easy way for chefs, cooks and food manufacturers to replace real ingredients with!

It is also a proven fact that MSG and other flavor enhancers are highly addictive.
MSG may cause obesity since after eating this toxic chemical your taste buds are left craving more and more.

So, our advice is; start to eliminate nasty food additives, especially flavor enhancers for a positive effect on your health!

  • A letter to my daughter on her 1st birthday. (Born- 8/2/18)

To my dear Inaaya, my fiery child, my 2nd born.
I can't believe you are already here at the end of your 1st year of life.
Its been the most incredible year watching you blossom into such a strong, lovable, determined little girl.

Your presence makes everyone around you beam with happiness. You are fierce with an immense craving for independence while at the same time, still want me close by every minute of the day.

There are just not enough words to describe the love I feel for you. Starting from the day you were born, you completely changed our lives.
Sure, there were times when you turned my world upside down - sleepless nights, outburst of crying, endless feeding and multiple other curve balls for which i was completely unprepared,

Sure, there were multiple times I was tired, overwhelmed and close to tears; wondering what I was doing wrong.
But then, there were also a million other moments that i spent looking into your eyes or the thousands of hours spent watching your beautiful face while you slept, always being reminded of how it was all completely worth it.

Being your mom has been the most rewarding gift, one that has allowed me to experience the greatest love I have ever known.

This journey of watching you develop and see your unique personality take shape is something that that I would never want to skip or rush.

This journey has been the best part of this past year. We made it past the newborn stage, watched your little teeth erupt, watched you roll over, crawl and feed yourself for the very first time etc.

Those early months of life seemed endless and now it seems as though I can't stop the time from flying by.
Inaaya, you have shown me the true meaning of unconditional love, humility and perseverance.

My wish for you on this day and every day is that you continue to flourish into a pious, independent, strong, confident woman.

I pray for you to have every possible success, in this world and the next. May every happiness fall at your feet, and may you lead a long and fulfilling life. I pray.. (Continued in the comments).
