It makes me even more determined to earn money and be successful so I don’t have to sacrifice wonderful holidays like these! x

  • Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love being a stay at home mum, and being there for my babies, but there is something inside me which needs me to be successful work wise, it won’t let me switch off, my head is buzzing a million times a day with new ideas, new ways to make money, how I can improve, how I can become more efficient. I can’t ‘just be a mum’, it’s not enough for me. Some people can, and that’s great, but for me it’s not possible. I get excitement out of talking business, sparking ideas, helping people. If you feel like me then let’s talk, let’s make it happen, I will help motivate you to be more!

  • This photo just came up on my Timehop. Mimi was a few weeks old. I remember being so exhausted here and wondered if life would ever be normal again. Well I don’t know if it goes back to normal or if it just becomes your normal, all I know is that the journey is hard work and can be the loneliest time you ever experience, these negatives have the ability to completely change you and consume you if you let them. So don’t let them! Be happy, motivated and successful and you will enjoy every single moment!

  • Fab Friday

Yes, that’s what I’m calling it today. These crazy leggings have had so many comments! Thank you @fabletics
Not that long ago I would never have had the courage to wear them indoors, let alone on the school run. However, as my confidence builds inside, so it does on the outside. Working on myself both inside and out has been crucial to finding me again.
I will ALWAYS be mum and I wouldn’t change that - ever. However, I do want to be me again too. Working with like minded women has helped me immensely. I’m focused on my nutrition (not dieting), my fitness and my mindset.
This comes when YOU want to make the change. Change doesn’t happen overnight and you definitely need an awesome group around you.
So, if you are a busy mum with a passion for helping others OR you want to start your journey, I’d love to hear from you. I run monthly online bootcamps where you get the accountability and support you need.
To chat, drop a 💪or your fav emoji or message me. Together we can do this xx

  • If your life is going in a direction you are not happy with, make some changes. You are not a tree, you're not confined to one space. You are the CEO of your life (alongside God). Happy Friday Mamas! If you are in the UK, enjoy the sunshine and pray that it lasts! 😁🌸 #theresilientmum

  • One thing I know for sure is that no one actually knows what they are doing. We are all making it up as we go along. So, if you feel like you’re doing it wrong…you’re not. You’re just like the rest of us!⠀
⠀
Motherhood is fricken tough. That’s why I’ve started Nina dan & Co. I’ve been at the stage you are at right now. I’m also a Neonatal Nurse so I’ve worked with hundreds of mothers. I've spent countless hours talking to new mothers about their fears and concerns and helped them through it. I feel that if I'm in a position that I can teach you some of my medical knowledge and you can learn from my trial and errors as a mum, then why not scream it from the rooftop?⠀
⠀
But guess what? I now have a pre-schooler AND a school age child…and I’m winging it! I’m totally making this shit up as I go along….and it’s just as tough. Being a school mum is complicated! Wish me luck while I practise my poker face and walk around pretending that I’m nailing it! ⠀

  • Though I am a single Mother. I have an amazing village. My village is a set of people that help when I need it and even when I don’t. My village will buy me toilet roll or sugar when I need it. My village will pray for me, correct me and give me a break when they can. My village is everything I lost when I had to do it alone. Don’t be afraid to use your village. They are positioned for a reason. #theinfinitewoman #desiretoinspiremums

  • I believe that once you have confidence as a mother you will ensure that your children are always thriving. You understand the importance of being great because when your children see you being great it will rub off on them. Your attitude, your words, your etiquette, your ethic; these are all things that your children are taking note of.

Head to the bio and click website to read the rest. 🙃🌸 #theresilientmum

  • This post is to all the mums to be. Mothers who have been through breastfeeding have had their own journey and you will too (long, short or non existent) but those who know me, know I’ve gone through hell and back physically, mentally and emotionally through my BF journey but so grateful that I’ve been able to get through it and continue to BF. I just wanted to share a few small “tips” to maybe assist you through yours. God knows I wish I had known these things much earlier but happy I do now before my journey comes to an end.
1. When in doubt, whip it out. This literally saved my life.
2. Night wakes; if you come to terms with the fact that this will not last forever, that this is the only time in your baby’s life where you will spend your nights awake (or half asleep) nourishing them with your body... you actually wake up feeling more refreshed and happier. Once the resentment stops, your whole body feels rested.
3. If your mind is not right, get out. Formula is very good. It is food. It will help your baby full stop! It will help you; mentally, emotionally and physically. There is no shame. Breast is best for when it’s not killing you. It’s ok to put YOU first. If you’re not okay, your baby will not be okay.
4. There is an end to the pain (unless half your nipple gets ripped off - in that case, the pain will semi go away with the help of breast shells @mumasil.com.au - pads and bras and clothes that touch are not an option for me, but I’m ok with this). 5. Seek help with the latch. Seek help many, many times. Seek help from multiple sources. Cause once bf’ing is good, it is so freaking good.
6. Babies can feed every 30mins-4hrs and this is ok. Do not compare. Do not question why your baby feeds every hour. Are they gaining a decent amount of weight? Are they pooing and peeing multiple times? Do they look fine? If yes to any/most; FEED WHENEVER. Women back in the day did not have clocks to work out how often their baby’s fed.
7. Length of feed is not important. If you’re sitting there for an hour; READ, WATCH TV, CHILL OUT.. cause god knows when that baby becomes more alert, you’re gonna have less and less time for that stuff.

  • This is my eldest she’s annoying the end........ However, I don’t know what I would have done without her she’s been a rock to our family even when she doesn’t feel like it. Growing teenagers isn’t easy but it’s not impossible. My 3 tips when growing teenagers is COMMUNICATE, COMMIT & CONSIDER. Leave the line of communication open, always commit to all they may come with and consider your ways, at times it can be us that are wrong. #theinfinitewoman #desiretoinspiremums

  • I remember when I first became an Independent Mother, someone mentioned how children growing up with just one parent come from broken households and there was no hope for them. They did not stop there, they started naming all the negatives and I noticed they had nothing positive to say.

I made my point to them very clearly stating that it is better for children to grow up in loving, stable homes with one parent who is doing their best for them than being raised in a household with violence, lack of love or a stale atmosphere.

Children can and will thrive no matter where they are. Independent households are not just a new thing, they've been around for a long time. Your children will never fail at what they do so long as you continue to instil great values and morals into their lives and as long as you continue being a phenomenal mother to them.

I don't always follow statistics unless it is beneficial for me because I am not trying to be a statistic. I am trying to be a good mother to my daughter and raise her to the best of my ability. My daughter does not come from a broken household, she comes from a household full of love. 🌸 #theresilientmum

  • “Harness your inner warrior” - Tuesday 20:30 Vinyasa class, Woodley. There comes a time in life when we are called to "step up" into our highest self, to face the chaos all around and embrace the craziness. How often do you resist the madness and retreat backwards? As a mother you will know all about these feelings, hiding in the toilet or behind your bedroom door, praying for strength to get through another day of half term. However, resisting only makes it worse, it makes you mad, frustrated and left feeling fed up! Instead lean into it, be crazy 😜scream playfully and join in the madness. You where born bold, fearless and fully connected to your purpose and the warrior inside you is willing you to listen. Surrender to what you think you should be doing and do the opposite. BREATHE in - I am Strong. BREATHE out - I am a Warrior. 🙏🏻😘❤️
