I find that it takes a particular mindset to embark upon a giant red painting. This work is very much in progress and will no doubt as ever, present many twists and turns, changes in pace risks and leaps in the dark that feel needed. Conviction, energy, excitement and expression all have to be present throughout though. Whoever thought that painting is relaxing?!
Most people don't know that I started off as a figurative painter. Over the past couple of decades though, what with work, moving around Europe and the distraction of kids, cats and husband, I simply haven't had the time necessary to dedicate to my figurative work. They are representations of my state of being, emotional self-portraits and they can each take months to complete. One day I hope to do a video to show how they develop and move over time. ✨"We Exist As Moments 1 & 2" are based on the idea that who we are, how we behave and how we interact with the world is all dependent on a fantastically complex set of variables intertwining as we hurtle through time. What we tend to remember is not the smooth continuum of time stretched out behind us, but short, vivid glimpses of life, snapshots of experience. ✨These two are now on the walls of the brand new TryItArt (@tryitart ) gallery in Bragg Creek, Canada.
Contemporary Abstract Expressionist Painting “Looking Up” by Contemporary International Abstract Artist Arrachme-Created for South Korean Exhibition Visible Poetry Connecting the World founder Yoo Choong Yeul, event by Hanam City.
Looking up is an abstract contemporary representation of life after nuclear interruption of the environment and how nature begins to repair and replace itself with positive growth. The circles are artists that represent the love that push gently against the cold metal edges of the power plant making it softer with every painting and exhibition that is created to bring awareness.

Growing up, I was surrounded by art and textiles so it is really no surprise that often the two come together in my work and that my landscapes often resemble patchwork quilts. Here is such a piece from last year, ‘Dreaming in the Dales’ 48” x 48” (sold)
You need Power, only when you want to do something harmful otherwise. Love is enough.
LAW OF ATTRACTION:
The belief is based on the idea that people and their thoughts are both made from energies.
Happiness and Success comes from attracting good things.
If you are attracted by greed or lust automatically it will give rise to jealousy, ego and anger. If you are attracted to making easy money you will automatically attract laziness. 'Like attracts Like' so one should get rid of above negative energies and should attract Divine energy which is Love. Do your work with Love. Keep Love in your heart for every individual you meet. This is how you will be able to give and receive positive energies.
