🗻 Set your alarm early - The best time to see her is in the morning at around 08.00am.
🗻 Finally - a pretty obvious one - but wait for a fair weather day, with no rain or clouds!

  • After a couple of months off from IG posting, I'm finally back with some fresh images from the last trip to Japan.
I've been seriously impressed by this country and its people and I can't wait to get back with the next workshop in 2020.

  • Geishas with gadgets... 🇯🇵

We are big fans of people watching - both being inherently nosey the idea of snooping in on other people’s lives for a moment is intriguing. And of all the places we have indulged in this pastime Kyoto, Japan has to our favourite.

Famous, amongst other things for its beautifully dressed Geishas it now attracts Geisha tourists who dress up to look the part. The result of which is a sea of gorgeous colours and patterns dotted across the city.

This was taken on a warm autumnal afternoon as 4 young Geisha tourists gathered round to inspect a group photo.
Bonus question: What is the collective noun for Geishas? We’re going for a Gaggle of Geishas... thoughts?

A MUST-TRY dessert when in Osaka is the popular Rikuro Ojisan, famed for their light, fluffy, jiggly and wobbly cheesecakes. Their traditional raisin cheesecake costs just Y685 (approx $8.80 AUD) Video by @nonstopeats #VisitJapanAU

  • Sometimes it’s nice to get lost in swathes of people. They carry me along, lead me to place my feet in front of another. Soaking in the presence of so many, caring about something.
