  • bringing a baby into the world is not glamours and it is not easy. it’s emotional and painful, confusing and stressful and oh so joyful at the same time. never in my life have I understood more what Jesus meant when he said “this is my body, broken for you” - Oh that God would allow us as women to experience the tiniest fraction of allowing our bodies to be broken in order that new life would come forward. .

The last few days have been full of tears and weeping, trying to figure out what I feel and why I feel it. And I think a lot of it is because of what just happened, but also I think God’s plan ended up being so much more beautiful and gripping and overwhelming then I ever could have asked it to be....and id love you to read about it.

  • I don't always understand God's plan and why we each have to struggle and suffer through things during our time on earth. My biggest struggle to date has been my mental health and being diagnosed with Bipolar 2 when I spent the majority of my life thinking I'd always live very healthy (based on my physical health). The one thing I do take joy in is that it is not mine to conquer on my own - I have Jesus who already won the battle for me. Now I try my best to live as a testimony of what God has done and what He IS still doing. .

So about a month ago I got to have a real heart to heart with @rosebud.blog about mental health and my journey finding God in that space. I'd be so honored if you checked it out and subscribed to my dear friends beautiful blog - God is using her and her words in mighty ways. #hope #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #bipolar #jesusvibes #truth #pnw #upperleftusa

  • This one gets me. I used to think that the bad seasons were a punishment, but more and more I see them as tests of God to strengthen my perseverance and character. My mom used to tell us that God never gives you more than you can handle. He gives you just enough to build your character so he can place you where you need to be. It's such a huge change in perspective and life changing when you apply that mindset. If you are going through challenges right now, I urge you to spend more time with Him so you will better understand how He will use you. #mindsetiseverything #godiseverything

  • My promise card. It can get hard to be patient when everyone is in a relationship or catching feelings. I mean in high school that what people seem to care and talk about. There's been so many times where I've wanted to be in a relationship just because everyone else around me. There's been a couple of boys that the devil threw at me to try and distract me, there was times where it almost worked. I've learned so much about myself and I wouldn't have been able to learn if I was in a relationship. Also I've learned from other people's mistakes when it comes to relationships.
1. Do just give your heart to anyone. Even if they are cute, give you butterflies, and know how to sweet talk you.☆Guard your heart.☆
2. Just because you like someone does not mean you have to date them. They might be attractive and they might find you attractive, but that should not be the reason you get into a relationship.
3. Go into the relationship with genuine intentions. Don't just date because you want to be in a relationship or because your life is boring.
4. Know your worth so when you do go into a relationship you know how to be treated.
5. Have standards. Understand that not just anyone gets to have your heart.
6. Don't go into a relationship thinking you can change the other person. If they are not mature enough for you at the time, then don't date them. If they really wanted to date you and are serious they would get there stuff together.
7.☆Don't rush into anything☆ If you are having second thoughts about getting into a relationship take a step back and pray about it, talk about it with someone. If it's meant to be it will be.
I can keep going on, but the most important thing I've learned is it's all in God's timing. He may not be ready to lead me or I may not be ready. Maybe God is still working on both of us because either one of us is ready for each other. What ever the case is I'm content in this season of singleness. Im just gunna keep running my race and when God tells me to look to my side and tells me " that's him" than I guess we'll run the race together. ◇ counties in the comments ◇
