*TIPS AND TRICKS*
Last month we gave you some tips on how to learn your first jumps and now we are going to elaborate some of the most common mistakes we see and why you might not be jumping as high as you wished.
4 common mistakes when learning to jump:
1. You don't get enough speed. It's scary, we know, but if you don't go fast enough you won't get enough power to jump.
2. You don't edge enough. It goes hand in hand with mistake #1 , you need to build up tension in the lines for the kite to pull you out of the water
3. You don't fly the kite quickly enough or you don't pull the bar enough. The kite needs this extra boost to pull you up.
4. You push off with your legs rather than using the power of your kite. No matter how strong your legs are, you will never be able to jump up high this way.

Im to old to show you my face but glad I wore a face mask a bloody decent OBE on film in front if some english tourists. First time I have dug in to what is supposed to be hard packed low tide sand.
Gave a local a crash course in assisting to put a kite down ( this guy doesnt kite) it went pretty well.
In comes the rain. Kite packed away and dry. Time for some old man painkillers and a Gin and Tonic.
Had a challenging start to the King of the Air; it took a second to re assess, relax and find my flow. The 2nd heat felt much better and now I'm ready for more... Amped to see such amazing riding across the board.... It was sent ! @redbullza
