  • Downs Bearded Dragon (Pogona henrylawsoni) 🦎 After finding a few of these guys dead on the road during the night, it was a nice surprise to come across this girl on the drive home the next morning.
Roads often attract reptiles during the night because they remain warm. It’s important to remember to slow down when driving at night in order to avoid hitting our native wildlife.

  • The Carolina Anole (Anolis carolinensis), native to the southeastern United States, is a highly adaptive species of lizard, making it an invasive species all around the world, namely, Japan.

There are several ways to manage such wildlife. Make sure to check out the unusual approach taken by one of Florida's residents to control other invasive species like the Tegu in the Everglades by following his account @tegusonly and subscribing to his youtube channel to support his efforts.
