It’s easy to compare yourself to people you follow, but as said before it’s a highlight reel with editing, knowing your best angles, good days etc etc. Use it to inspire you and get ideas but don’t let it consume you to feel bad or compare! That’s probably the worst thing to ever do. -
Be happy within yourself no matter where you are in your health journey and as cliche as it sounds, LOVE yourself! Because when you finally do (easier said than done, especially if you lean more towards a ‘perfectionist’. It takes work with changing your thoughts/ attitude) you literally become 10 times happier in all aspects of life and other people’s opinions don’t matter as much 💫

  • I keep saying I need to work on my mobility / stretching and do more foam rolling etc etc but after a 5am wake up, full day at work and then training at the busiest time in the gym- the last thing I wanna do is spend an extra 15-20 mins on a foam roller (post workout the only thing I want to do is get home to eat and sleep🙃) soooo instead I’m dedicating 15 minutes 3x a week at home to foam roll with @loroxburgh foamroller, stretch, practice yoga and work on my mobility (especially my ankle mobility- this has a huge impact on my squats!!) determined to stick to this!👊🏼🙋🏼‍♀️

  • POWER 💥 Someone mentioned going all out on all your workouts the other day, and whilst I'm a huge advocate of training hard, I think so many of us are doing 80% effort, 100% of the time and are always at risk of burning out. 🥵 My new philosophy is to do low impact workouts most of the time, then hit my other workouts with 100% effort the rest of the time 💦 I'm loving my new training gear from @nikewomen at @nextofficial_brands including the Nike One Tight - perfect for taking you from your low to high impact workouts and straight out for food after! 🌯 #BrandsatNext #ad #HIIT #fitnessmodel #marathontraining

I'll often fit in a session between meetings, and it's a godsend having the amazing Nike One Tight from @nikewomen at @nextofficial_brands to flit between the gym and meetings (looking awesome at both, I might add) 🙃 The mid-rise waistband also makes them super flattering (and they don't expose anything, even when my leg is in your face) 💁‍♀ The leggings might not turn you into superwoman but they'll take a good shot at it! #ad #BrandsatNext #kickboxing #boxing #crosstraining 📷 @tamsinlouisephotography

Comer salmón el domingo se siente tan conformista (¿quién más está en el tren salmon hoy? 🙋🏼♀), pero de la mejor manera absoluta.

: salmón chipotle con ajo y miel 👉🏻 1) en un tazón, combine 1 cda. miel, 1/4 cucharadita Polvo de chile chipotle, 1 cda. manteca o manteca derretida, un ponche o sal + un puñetazo de pimienta.   • A wise woman (going by the name of @kayacansfield ) once told me that “difficult paths lead to beautiful destinations” - and whilst I very much believe that to be true, how do you cope when the path gets difficult? 
This week has been disappointing and unsettling and I (along with many lovely friends) have been telling myself that this is all for reason, that things weren’t meant to be, that another door will open. I hope and deep down believe it will, but I’ve definitely felt in a funk this week that has been harder to shake than I’d like. 
How do you cope when you receive setbacks or disappointing news? Do you continue to pursue what you want, change tack and head in another direction, or just retreat for a while to process and work out next steps? I’d love to know and love learning how other people view these sort of situations.

  • CFC's Favorite Chopped Salad 🍅
{ There is just something spectacular about a fresh crisp-chopped salad creation!
So very simple and pretty basic...but each time I bite into one, I'm reminded how much I absolutely LOVE these types of salads. You can leave out anything you don't love, and add in what you do! .
makes 4 servings

Ingredients:
4 Roma tomatoes, chopped
1 English cucumber or 3 Persian cucumbers, seeded and chopped
1/2 small red onion, chopped
1/3 cup pitted black olives, chopped
1 bunch of fresh parsley, leaves picked and roughly chopped
2 Tbsps apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to your taste, about 1/4 teaspoon each 
1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
2 lemon slices, to garnish

Instructions:

In a large bowl combine tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, olives and parsley. Season with sea salt and pepper to taste.

In a small glass container, whisk oil, vinegar and lemon juice, then pour over chopped salad ingredients.

Gently toss to combine.

Sprinkle with crumbled feta cheese and garnish with lemon slices.

  • I seriously can't believe I've only got one week left of my programme!! It still baffles me that this will be the third programme in a row I have completed from START TO FINISH!

For years and years I would start a workout programme, only to give up a few weeks in. But there is something so powerful about being surrounded by a community of women who are motivating and inspiring you to show up every single day!
