This week I've been dealing with a chronic back pain. I know what the issue is and I also know what to do to alleviate the pain. Mainly stretches, exercises and taking care of how I move is what works. I know this because I've had it a long time and I've been to many doctors and therapists to learn what works best.
It is no different for mental pain, but far too often we try to ignore or to not acknowledge that we have a mental problem. When I have something that triggers me mentally I follow the same steps. I learn each day what helps me. I have researched my problems and triggers. I run through in my mind what to do in hard times. The same way I've learned for my physical issues.
Let's work to make solutions for mental issues as normal as we do for physical issues.
