For daily healthy meals👈🏽

INGREDIENTS:
Chicken:
4 (6 oz) boneless skinless chicken breasts
3/4 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 - 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, to taste
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp dried oregano
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 Tbsp olive oil

Avocado Corn Salsa:
1 ear corn, grilled or 3/4 cup frozen corn, thawed
1 roma tomato, diced
1/3 cup diced red or green bell pepper
1/2 avocado, diced
3 Tbsp chopped red onion
2 Tbsp chopped cilantro
1 Tbsp fresh lime juice
1 Tbsp olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat a grill over medium-high heat (to about 425 degrees). Pound thicker parts of chicken with the flat side of a meat mallet to even out their thickness. 
In a small bowl whisk together paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, onion powder, thyme and oregano. Season with salt and pepper to taste (I used heaping 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper). Brush both sides of chicken breasts lightly with olive oil then sprinkle both sides evenly with seasoning mixture. Grill until center registers 165, about 4 minutes per side. 
Meanwhile in a medium mixing bowl toss together corn, tomato, bell pepper, avocado, red onion, cilantro, lime juice and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 
Let chicken rest off of grill 5 minutes tented with foil then serve warm with Avocado Corn Salsa. By @cookingclassy

While no one meal will make you gain or lose weight, your meals and snacks for the day all together will add up to hit your target goals.

As a reminder, for fat loss you need to be in a sustainable caloric deficit. For muscle gain, you need to be in a caloric surplus. For macitence, you need to be at a a caloric maintenance level.

While that exact caloric number will be different for everyone, here are some examples to help you reach your goals.

As you can see for the weight loss meals, they’re not devoid of all complex carbs. While at dinner, I skipped the rice for cauliflower rice, at lunch, I still included the full sweet potato and just skipped the toppings that were in the muscle gain meal.

Additionally, I made sure I had plenty of healthy fats in the weight loss meals but still had a smaller portion than in the muscle gain meals.

Breakfast fat loss - 2 eggs + 2 egg whites, 1/4 avocado, 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes + 1/4 cup mushrooms + 1/4 cup asparagus sautéed + 1 piece Ezekiel toast.
Breakfast muscle gain - Added 2 eggs, + 1/4 avocado, + 1 tbsp pb.

Lunch fat loss - 4oz chicken, 1 sweet potato, 1 cup broccoli.
Lunch muscle gain - Added 2oz chicken, added 1 banana + 1 tbsp pb.

Dinner fat loss - 4oz wild salmon, 1 cup cauliflower rice, 1 cup mushrooms + 1 cup kale sautéed in 1 tsp olive oil.
Dinner muscle gain - Added 2oz salmon, subbed in 1 cup rice for 1 cup cauliflower.

  • How to create a healthier PB&J! 🍓🥜🍞

I’m all for recreating childhood favorites with new upgraded ingredients.
Here’s what’s I used in my upgraded PB&J:
▶️ 2 pieces of sprouted of bread like Ezekiel bread
▶️ all natural peanut butter like @cbs_nuts
▶️ 1/2 - 1 cup mashed raspberries
vs.
Standard Pb&J:
▶️ 2 pieces white bread
▶️ conventional peanut butter
▶️ conventional jam
.
▶️ Lesson of the day: not all brands are created equal - make sure to check nutrition facts & ingredients. There are definitely healthy versions of peanut butter or even raspberry preserves if you prefer that over mashed raspberries but steer clear of jams with high fructose corn syrup added and peanut butter with vegetable oils and added sugar.
.
▶️ Wonder bread vs. Ezekiel bread - Wonder bread has such a crazy long list of ingredients I couldn't even fit it in this caption reasonably. Where as Ezekiel bread has the following Ingredients: Organic Sprouted Wheat, Filtered Water, Organic Sprouted Barley, Organic Sprouted Millet, Organic Malted Barley, Organic Sprouted Lentils, Organic Sprouted Soybeans, Organic Sprouted Spelt, Fresh Yeast, Organic Wheat Gluten. Simple and minimally processed - now that's a win! 
The healthy choice is obvious and reminder to read the label on your bread brands too! 😜❤ .

I think this may be one of my favorites because it combines my favorite fruit and my favorite veggie all in one beautiful baked oatmeal bowl. I topped the bowl with fresh apple slices, crunchy granola, and the best granola butter you could ever imagine. This entire bowl is gluten-free, dairy free, and vegan 👌🏻 It is such a great way to start your morning and it’s perfect for anyone with dietary restrictions like your girl here! There are several reasons it can be beneficial to take dietary supplements with food or a complete meal.

One reason is to buffer the stomach (especially important for those with sensitive stomachs).
Another reason is to increase consistency and compliance with the recommended dosage.  Many people find it easier to form a habit of taking supplements alongside a meal, as opposed to taking them separately.
Perhaps the best reason to take supplements with a meal is that some nutrients (e.g. fat-soluble nutrients and calcium) typically have improved absorption when taken with a meal or snack.
