How often do you borrow books from library? Do you prefer to buy or borrow books?
I usually buy books but I want to use my library card more :) I have a library close by and they have a great selection for English books! ♡
Thank you to my momma in law for gifting me this book. I may not be able to read yet but the author of this book is a pastor for the church that my family go to :) She is awesome!!! I can’t wait until I am able to read it ♥
Have a lovely Tuesday!

Think my lungs much preferred Austria’s fresh mountain air to London’s... eh not so fresh air 🙈 (It’s sunny though!)

Rise & Shine it’s coffee o’clock ⏰ I’ve got a full schedule of meetings today but I’m dreaming of this speciality iced coffee mocha drink I had @hotlcoffee last week. @bmwilder22 and I popped into @carpentershallatx for dinner over the holidays and I got a tour of the whole property last week (thanks @theediblevoyage!) and I’m digging the vibe. Have you checked this place out yet?

The struggle has been real lately. My anxiety is at an all time high, things seem to be crumbling around me. All I want to do is run, that’s the beauty of anxiety. It tricks you into thinking that if you just run and hide you’ll feel better. That it will all be over. Really you never do and it never is. It’s somewhat like this picture I took up in the mountains in Tennessee. A very narrow path, you feel like there’s no room and the walls are closing in around you. There’s no escape. When my anxiety sets in, there’s no stopping it until it’s over. Sometimes there’s a reason for it, sometimes it’s just there. I wish the world was more simple. More understanding. Instead there’s a label for everything. A judgement cast in every direction, at every individual. So many expect perfection, but realistically no one is perfect. So why do we treat others with such utter disrespect? Why are we so demeaning and heartless when they don’t meat your personal expectation? You have no idea the battles someone is fighting. If we are suppose to treat everyone as an equal when politics are in subject, than why don’t we on all accounts? There should be no prejudice when it comes to equality. Instead of being the person who is hurtful to others, go out of your way to be the good in someone’s day. You never know, you might be the reason their whole day turned around instead of making their dark cloud bigger. #AnxietySucks#FuckAnxiety
Minutes after I took this picture, a bulldog slowly emerged from the house across the tabubeia tree I was standing under. As he laboriously limped towards me, his owner who had followed him mentioned that he wouldn’t do anything, anticipating my fear. The dog looked up at me and I scratched his soft-brown head. “What’s his name?” I asked. “Saint,” the owner replied. I gazed back into Saint’s eyes. They were the gentlest pair I had seen in a long while. #photographsididnottake is going to be a new series of mine
