1. Don’t most daughters PRETEND to be Elsa + Cinderella? In our house, no way does Belle get the spotlight—it’s MABEL who takes care of the beast.😂 There’s a legit outrage if you “misread” the book + Belle slips out instead.🙈
2. I write daily devos for my church, so I’ve decided to tell my favorite of the week in my stories every Tuesday. Today being the first! Hop on over to hear more: “Have you ever felt abandoned by God?”
P.S. I spy a fuzzy photo bomber.🐮

The cutest thing is when Amira gets a booboo she always tells me to kiss it. Somehow kissing her booboos fix everything and she can go back to normal. I hope I can always make her pains easier and help guide her.

😍The patience of a mother might be likened to a tube of toothpaste - it's never quite all gone.❤️
From the second you came into my life I was amazed by your personality, by the way you shine no matter where you go. I will alway hold your hand and watch you shine, my little princess.
Thank you @modest.barbie for these adorable #mommyandme outfits. .

My youngest daughter turned Sweet Sixteen today!!!! Part of me can’t wrap my head around it, but really you’ve always been an old soul. You mean more 2 me than I could ever explain in a silly post.
You are one of the strongest individuals I’ve ever had the pleasure 2 love. You make us laugh until we cry. You are always so considerate & empathetic to others. You are impressively full of insight. I love your competitive nature & you seemed 2 be damn good at everything you try. You are a blessing 2 say the least. To say I love you sounds so small compared 2 how full you make my life & especially my heart 💜
Happy happy 16th birthday, my Beautiful Girl!!!! 🎉🎈😘🎂 *
Family relationships, like your relationship with yourself are complicated. They are full of conflicts, trauma and so much love. "Be a Lady" was largely motivated by a constant need I have to explore why I am who I am, how I got here and where I'm going. The last few years have focused in on how my female body has effected my experiences. I can't help but look to my mother to compare, contrast and find wisdom in her example. To consider how her experiences have shaped her philosophy in raising me. I often don't come up with any answers, but thinking through all the questions and complexity by making art often makes me more comfortable living in the ambiguity of it all. So here is my mother's portrait as one small, but unquestionably influential piece of my paper doll installation "Be a Lady." ・・・
You can read some thoughts by @justlikepattismith in @artandcakela about "Be a Lady" and @missartworld 's "Alterations" that happened @shoeboxprojectsla last month. The link is in my bio and I'd love for you to read it and share your thoughts with me. ・・・
