Two years I released a project called “I Am The Black Woman”. A short film and gallery series that explores what it means to be a black woman/woman of color living in a society that holds predominantly Eurocentric standards of beauty. How does that effect women in the professional world, at educational institutions, and in their childhoods?
A Seat At The Table was an album I throughly enjoyed front to back, and still revisit it today. While listen to it a couple weeks ago I got an idea...”I wonder what would happen if I put ‘Don’t touch my hair’ over the footage from my film?” I thought the result was something special. In this is footage from the film as well as some footage that hasn’t been seen yet. Hope it speaks to you. Thank you for being you @saintrecords 🙏🏿. #DirectedByJeff#JeffreyEmile#BlackHistoryMonth#IATBW#Solange#ASeatAtTheTable#DontTouchMyHair

The last project of 2018 was an Episode for the gorgeous Documentary Series ‘Bergwelten’. An episode called ‘Nadine Wallner - Tiefschnee am Arlberg’ will finally be screened this Monday at 8:15 PM (CET). I’m glad that I was part of this great team of talents and I can't wait to hear your thoughts on this beautiful film.
