😔 it’s a sad day, I awoke to the news Chris Pratt is engaged and now the chances of me ever being able to use my hall pass have drastically lowered from slim to none. 😭 #deverstated

Sometimes going off the map is what leads you to the most rewarding places. ⠀
In tonight’s blog, I talk about how we landed our first magazine cover, how a last-minute design decision became the most featured area on our property, and how social media played a big role in our @originmagazine cover and feature.⠀

Just a little peek at our most recent staging in Everett, WA.

On to the weekend 🙌🏻 My middle baby turns 7 this week and we’re looking forward to celebrating his sweet, lego-loving self with family tomorrow. I was a week past my due date with him, and it was hands-down the longest week of my life. It ended very dramatically, though, with an ice storm, a 3.5 hour, drug-free labor (more by accident than by choice tbh), and a 10+ pound baby boy. Pretty crazy start, but he ended up being my easiest baby. I love him so much I can’t stand it. Happy weekend, Friends!
I've been excited to share this diy with yall !! A few years ago, I purchased these barstools from goodwill. They were in great shape except for the super dated fabric. I attempted to paint it, which lemme tell you right now is not the right decision, and they stood unfinished for about 2 yrs. I was thinking about selling them before I realized we need barstools for our new apartment!
Thus began the strenuous process of cutting the backs off, ripping off the old fabric and removing the millions and MILLIONS of staples tacking it down.
I did what any sane person would do and hit up a thrift store for some $2 quirky fabric. I ended up coming home with some weird circular tablecloth with fringe - little did I know it was a $50 Gypsy round beach towel!
#boucherouite rugs are not just sturdy but can significantly enhance the beauty of any house. They can get along with almost any interior design. Many designers, as well as stylists, love it so much that they use it in their projects. You will not miss seeing #boucherouiterug as you flip through the pages of an interior magazine
My back is getting better day by day but I still can’t do a whole lot of lifting on my own. I typically dedicate most of my Fridays to staging and photographing rugs early in the day when I have lots of sunshine.
Today was different. I had to patiently wait for my husband to get off work to get home and help me get these big old things staged and into my hands so I didn’t have to bend 😂. Thank heavens for him because if I didn’t have him my rug business would be on hold.
Anyways, I was able to photograph all my rugs in time to get them listed by 5:00pm EST today! It may not be the perfect lighting I typically go for, but it will work. I can’t wait for you guys to see all TEN of these new beauties.
This ones name is Frankie and she’s my favorite of this batch 🥰
