Sitting on my favorite edge of the world with one of my favorite people ever // ✨

This was our 6th and last sunset in Yosemite; I had been drooling over seeing a velvet antlered deer up close and personal during our entire trip here... and just as we entered the forest for our last hike, there he was. Grazing and enjoying the light trickling in between the branches. As we watched him, we realized another photographer was just as captivated, standing silently still, this was @itsbigben and I’s meet-cute... we strolled along talking about the rarity of the velvet and laughing about hiking in Birkenstocks.. who knew he would capture moments I’ll hold near and dear to my heart forever. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Timing. It’s more important than anything we can control... it often does not matter how hard we try for something, if the timing does not align.. no matter how valiant our efforts, it can not be forced.
Rad day skiing #MtShasta with @darrenphughes -The last 500ft worked me harder than I’ve worked in a long time. See the little ski dude out there - Epic selfie included! 🤘⛷📸 #natgeo100contest
Yay, it’s Friday 🎉🥳 Had a lovely slow hike at Edgewood Park today after battling a cold this week. Early wildflowers and wildlife were out !! Can’t wait to head back as more pop up in spring :) Happy weekend!
Sleeping in the desert. Running at dawn to catch the sunrise. Shadows from a full moon. Getting my hair stuck in a cactus (twice). Waking up with snow in my tent. And that time you ask friends if they want to go on a spontaneous roadtrip into the Mojave Desert — in 12 hours — and their response is an unequivocal “I’M IN.”
So what’s the thesis of the story? That sometimes life gives us experiences so rich they remind us of how life is meant to be lived. And as @quesara_ says, it’s a lesson I’d be willing to learn again and again. And again. #meetatthenorthridge#dreamsofmojave#california
A golden and blustery day exploring Half Moon Bay. The wind was blowing all afternoon and it got to the point that you couldn’t feel your hands while shooting! Probably the reason why the trees look like they’re getting blown over 🤷🏽♂️ Make sure to take advantage of the weekend and do some adventuring! I know I will😁👌🏽Happy Friday! #chasestories

The point is not to work out what it is, but to show how weird and wonderful the world can look from above.
🧜🏻♀️ I got asked why I post so many pictures of the ocean. Great question friend!
.
💗The Ocean for me represents freedom, expansion and life. The waves are like the breath of the earth. 🤘🏻I can literally feel the vibes whenever I’m standing on the Ocean’s shore and I connect with it.
.
🧜🏻♀️ I feel trapped in the city often. Smells of pollution, people stressed out in traffic, the pace of life in the city is enough to leave anyone feeling exhausted. In every city I’ve lived in near the beach life slows down. People are happier. Not to mention the pacific isn’t exactly hard on the eyes! She’s quite the beauty! 💋
.
💗 I post pics of the beach because I am there all of the time!! It is the place where I connect most with earth, wind, fire, water, self and the universe. Simple as that. ✨
