  • Life will hit you like a brick wall, and you must have the strength and attitude to climb over that wall as fast as you could or else you will be stuck. You will not move forward in life unless your attitude towards your goals don’t change. You must be willing to go through the pain and struggle throughout the journey because the path to becoming great is not an easy one. You will be knocked down multiple times and each time you must get up and keep moving forward 💯🦍

  • There are scientific evidences that support the existence of a particular way to wake up every morning in order to reach the most positive mindset and mood, and also to be the most productive possible. Infact lots of neuroscientific reserches have highlithed a connection between our general daily minset and how we wake up.
To start everything off, I’m telling you that you should NEVER postpone your morning phone alarm. Snoozing for a couple of minutes impacts your general neurological/cognitive functions. Let me explain you why.
We sleep in cycles, each of them of about 75-90 minutes; after 3-4 sleep cycles, our brain goes into a state where, for about 2 hours, it gets ready to wake up. So it’s NOT in a SLEEP CYCLE anymore, nut it’s in a READINESS STATE, in which it’s ready to start the day, even if we still think to be tired. Hitting the snooze botton while our brain is in this state, and then falling asleep again for 10-15 minutes, will make it starting again a new sleep cycle. Since, as I said before, a normal sleep cycle lasts from 70 to 95 minutes, waiking yourself up after just 10 to 15 minutes will cause your brain falling in a different state from the readiness one, called the SLEEP INERTIA state, which is quite a bad thing. Studies pruved that it impacts our speed of proccessing, our ability to focus and our stategic thinking. Since our brain takes about 4 hours to get out of this sleep inertia state, this will make our general mood and attitude negative during all the day.
So the solution is to force ourself out of bed when the alarm firstly goes off in the morning. Let me give you a tip in order to succesfully do it: before going to sleep put your phone away from your bed. Then, when the alarm will go off the next morning, wait 5 seconds and get out of bed.
If you have to wake up very early, so waiking yourself up would mean to you to stop a sleep cycle and fall in a sleep inertia cycle, after waking up take a cold shower: that will shock your brain awake and you’ll be out of the sleep inertia state.
This way, I want you to notice if you’re feeling better during your entire day, if you’re feelling more awake and productive.
