Instagram “rules” say that you shouldn’t post this late on a Tuesday night, but my “rules” say, post whenever you like, because it’s all about what makes YOU happy!💕 I’ve spent wayyyyyy too much time trying to please the “algorithm,” and get as many people seeing my posts as possible. Posting at the right time, the right things, the right captions, and having my feed perfectly blend together is not as much of a priority to me as it has been in the past, and THANK GOODNESS🙌🏻✨ I think we all spend a little too much time thinking about what our followers would “want” to see, and not enough time thinking about what would make US happy! What do we want to post? And if it doesn’t match your feed, who cares? If you’re anything like that 250 lb girl on the left, you probably feel desperate.
You’re probably feeling overwhelmed, wondering how the heck are you even going to make this work?
Feeling miserable and nothing like yourself, as if you don’t even recognize the person staring back at you.
That was me. I was miserable, and overwhelmed, and not able to recognize myself. Battling fear and anxiety.
BUT the 160 lb girl on the right is here to tell you that YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
There is HOPE!
I know it is so cliché.. but if I can do it, with a baby recovering from chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.
Living in isolation, in and out of the hospital, so limited in what I was able to do.
If I can do it, SO CAN YOU!
Don’t give up! Hold on to hope!

Dáváte si novoroční předsevzetí? Já jo. Většinou je to, že budu běhat. Dostatečně bezpečné, že mi opravdu vydrží. Ale chtělo by to i trochu cvičit. Protože strávím hodiny a hodiny běháním (tedy staráním se o dítě! samozřejmě), na ostatní cvičení nezbývá moc čas. Ale trocha protažení nemůže uškodit. Ale objevila jsem #OrbitChallenge s @orbitklub a @puma. Dvacetiněcominutová videa jako dělaná pro lidi, co nemaj čas jít do tělocvičny a hodinu tam funět (kdo by pohlídal tu moji malou princeznu?!). A když je to challenge, tak se musí udělat foto. V té nejoblíbenější pozici. A tou je samozřejmě - pozice dítěte ;).
Do u make New Year ́s resolutions? I do. I usually decide to run (that ́s quite safe enough - to not to break it very quickly :D). This year I thought I should change it a bit and start some exercise. I don ́t have much time left since I spend hours running (I mean taking care of my baby! of course). But I should rest more, maybe a bit stretching wouldn ́t hurt too. So I came across (thanks to the online world!) #OrbitChallenge yoga videos with @orbitklub a @puma. And I tried it. 20sth minutes long lessons are just for me and I don ́t have to go to a studio, find somebody to watch my little pal... what else to wish? And it ́s a challenge - so what do you have to do? Take a picture :). And my favorite pose? Hell, that ́s the child ́s pose :).

Skipping is one of my favorite ways to get a quick warmup - or even a good workout in it's own right. Here are a few good tips from my own experience:
Pick the right rope:
- Ordinary skipping ropes are quite thick and heavy. While this is great for new skippers as it allows you to 'feel' where the rope is at all times - don't expect to be able to skip very fast or do double unders or even triple unders with it. Get a speed rope
- To reset - let the rope fall to the floor and step in front of it
- Focus on something in front of you and keep your head and chin up - I find this helps me with my balance
- Tiny jumps! Use your calves to just about clear the floor and keep your feet together
Have fun with it! Skip to some music and try moving onto tricks - you can do high knees while skipping, cross overs, double unders and more. Never chain yourself to a boring treadmill again for the 5 minutes before your workout
