Raise of hands if you loathe paper filing 🙋🏼♀️ But guess what?! Filing papers doesn’t have to be a chore! Have a system for papers as they enter the house so that things don’t pile up to point of overwhelm. I’m a firm believer in the one minute rule, if it will take you less than a minute to tackle a task do it right away. This means papers get sorted from the start! In our home we have a paper station with two main categories “to do” and “to file” so that as papers enter the house, they either get immediately recycled, shredded, or put in one of these two categories. Typically once a week I address all the papers in order to keep them from taking over!
When I saw this paper station setup that @rachelandcomp created for her client I just had to share! Simple, streamlined, and perfectly styled, I would love tackling paperwork in this setup! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We are starting our week before Christmas pretty calm. Mum has to work in the office and we are relaxing in the basket 🧺
Have a great start into this week and don’t feel too stressed 🤗

Did you know they call tomorrow blue Monday?
It’s hard to not feel blue this time of year - weather is poop, it’s grey and white outside, days are shorter, Christmas hype is over, we’re back in our routines, may have felt like we failed our resolutions, debt, etc.
How can you beat the blues? I’ve fell victim to SAD (seasonal affective disorder) before and felt blue for all the reasons above.
Especially nowadays where you feel anxious and depressed at the same time, it’s hard to keep your mind busy on something good when it’s gloomy and meh around you, and frankly you just don’t feel like it. Plus our automated world makes it even harder to try to keep our minds busy and happier, we barely have to think anymore.
This year seems to be the first I’ve felt happier in a long, long time, and I think working on myself (A LOT) last year and putting my energy into helping others now has helped immensely. Plus having a positive (key word) community to dive in and check in to for my own wellness journey is keeping my head in check for myself and for our family.
Aiming to keep the girls on track in my group by prepping myself for the week, showing it can be done and they’re not alone.
If you’re yearning for a restart button and a healthy, positive community in your life to help you with a good mindset, fueling your body better and working towards your resolution, the form for February’s group is in my profile, or I’m always a message away. ♥️me
