Overcoming my ego is probably the biggest challenge I’ve ever had to face.
When i look back now it’s something I’ve had a problem with as far back as i remember.
The problem is I never used to see it as a bad thing, I thought i was ‘cool’. I was always attention seeking ✅
Constantly comparing myself to others ✅
Being defensive and taking offense if someone corrects me ✅
Rarely helped others ✅
Jealous of other peoples success ✅
Bad loser ✅
Always blamed others ✅
And to be honest, even though I’m in a completely different space now than i was a few years back, I’m still no where near where i want to be.
It’s something I still struggle with and is one of the things I’m working on daily.
I’m sure some of you can probably relate because it’s something that every single person deals with in some way, shape or form.
What I’ve grown to understand is that having an ego is not ‘cool’, it’s the enemy.
It’s the thing that’s holding you back in your career, business, relationships, finances, health, spirituality, happiness and everything else that you can think of.
Once you get your ego in check, and this isn’t something you’re going to be able to do overnight, it will take years of working on yourself, then and only then, i truly believe you will have much better control over your life and have a much deeper fulfilment in everything you do. 🙌🏼

I just can’t seem to get it together and feeling increasingly overwhelmed about my daughters birthday tomorrow she the love of my life 🥰
I’ve just had a really sad feeling today I just can’t shake, I’ve tried to keep busy, but every time I walk past her baby photo or pick up a toy I fight back the tears 😭
All I could think about is how much time has passed, how I miss all of the things she used to do, the things she does now, how much I want that back and how I cannot deal with this growing up thing 😫
