But seriously, I’ve actually looked forward to today to get all my shit together before the week starts 😅
✔️ prepping food
✔️ prepping sessions
✔️ journaling, mediating, yoga
One thing I know about myself is if I’m not organized, I’m stressed. Being organized and having some sort of a routine keeps me calm. I’ve learned that straying from “the plan” every once in a while is OOOOOK, the world still goes on and it actually allows me to have some unexpected fun but for the most part I like my organization 🤓
What’s something you do on Sunday’s to set the time for the week?
Quick and easy meal planning this week. Last week I didn’t meal plan and our meals were allll over the place and not the healthiest 🤦🏻♀️ which also means we have lots of healthy food still in the fridge that needs to be used up ASAP! Using mostly ingredients that we already have, dinners will be as seen above 👆🏻 ▫️
Breakfasts👉🏻 egg white scramble, overnight oats or smoothies 🍓
Lunches 👉🏻 flat bread wrap or pizza 🍕 leftovers or veggie soup that we have in the pantry 🥫
Snacks 👉🏻 veggies and hummus, fruit, almonds, HB eggs, chia seed pudding or protein bar 🍫 ▫️
As I was going through our fridge today I tried something new. Instead of keeping all of our produce in the bottom drawers, I moved it to a shelf where it will be more visible. A simple switch, but so often it really does become “out of sight, out of mind” when it’s in the bottom drawers and goes to waste 👎🏻 hoping this will help get it used up!! Here’s to a new, healthier week! 🤗
ORGANISATION 🔸 Each week I pick a day where I give our home a big de-clutter... slowly each room gets a big clear out of all the negative vibes, unwanted clothing, useless items! Not only is this de-cluttering my home but it’s always keeping my mind clear and de-cluttered ready for me to put my inspiration to the test!
If you had spoken to me two, even one year ago I would never have said that this would be something I really enjoy! However now being able to put my spin on a house is such a awesome feeling 👐🏻 here’s to more D.I.Y and lots of organising!
Declutter your Paper!
1. Stop the inflow, switch to E statements!
2. Gather everything into one area, find a home for your paper, do not keep more paper than what fits in its home.
3. Start 3 piles, keep, shred, recycle. I shred everything that includes my address, this obviously includes account paperwork, etc.
4. Organize what you are keeping by subject; accounts, pets, warranties. Decide how you will organize for multiple people in the household, we used a colour coding method.
5. Start placing paper into its organizing method, we used file folders, you could also use binders, or boxes.
6. Label, label, label.
7. Alphabetical order
8. Start shredding the “shred it” pile!
Happy 😊 Sunday interweb!!! I slept 🛏 in, which was lovely 😊 but then remembered I have sooooo much work to do and chores around the house 🏡 that I started to get stressed 😩 out. Not to mention that I’m two workouts 🏋🏼♂️behind 🤦🏽♀️As I have mentioned before, I’m horrible with time management and have gotten in the habit of doing things last minute. I also have to remember to just breathe and take things one ☝️ step at a time. Focus on what needs to be done ✅ but also what steps I need to take in order to keep things nicely flowing and not getting things done surrounding chaos! 😝
I’m far from being the amazingly super organized boss mom that I want to be, but I’m getting closer everyday as long as I continue to be willing to work towards that!! One ☝️ of the things I really love ❤️ about coaching is that it’s helped me be more aware of the things that should be prioritized ( like my meal preps and not Netflix 🤦🏽♀️). So today, I’m going to just breathe, try to relax and once again try to mentally prepare myself and prioritize for the week ahead. Especially since it’s the last week of my program and I don’t want to fuck it up, lol. 🗂📝What are YOU doing today to get ready for the week ahead??

And so it begins.😢 I was sick with the flu for over a week, so I am REALLY behind on Tidying up. (we won't talk about the fact that I got a flu shot and still ended up with the full blown flu). I don't know about you, but papers have taken over our home in various spaces. I have a file cabinet, but it doesn't even begin to hold everything. From taxes to receipts to kids' art and awards, I have it all in piles in corners, boxes, and more corners. I vowed not to quit the #tidyingupchallenge , sick or not.
