  • I really like to surf and everytime time I ask to myself, because I'm a personal trainer what Is the best way to train for surfing if you don't surf so often 🤔.
Finally I think that there isn't anyway that can really improve your surfing except surfing.
The only way that you Can Be ready to surf Is having a body with the same features of a prosurfer!
1) Perfect posture : have you ever seen a prosurfer with a khifosis or a bad shoulder mobility ? I don't
2) Exellent mobility: if you can't do a deep squat or a cosack squat(hip, knee, ankle mobility) for sure you are not agile enough to surf well.
3)core and joint stability: if your lower and upper body are not well connected, and you don't have spine, hip, knee,ankle and shoulder stability how you can have balance?
4)Strenght :
Strenght and balance are related, you Can do 10 well done pushups,  5 pullups or a pistol squat ? If not you don't have a decent basic strenght 
5)Paddle Power and Endurance: here you have 2 choises : first go paddle even when it's flat or you Can go in the pool and swim like a lifeguard, head up😉(very boring ) .
Finally I can say that this features doesn't teach you how to surf because you can't learn basketball without a basket and a ball but you Can aspire to have the same Athletic features of Lebron James, and specially for a mediterranean surfer working out in a gym Is not a bad idea👩‍🏫👩‍🏫👩‍🏫👩‍🏫😂💪
