  • 🔥 Monday Motivation! 🤙🏼 My top tips for crushing it:

Firstly, fuck motivation. It’s like cool Uncle Jerry who shows up out the blue with a crate and some rad ideas. You’ll have a great night but in the morning he’ll be gone and you’ll have to pick up the pieces. You can’t rely on him to do the school run or pay his bills. So ultimately you just have to enjoy his company when he’s around but not expect any miracles.

Instead, cultivate discipline, grit and drive. Doing the things that matter when you don’t feel like doing them is what creates the outcome you desire.

Start small, when you don’t feel motivated at all and it will train that mechanism. It will, as David Goggins says, callous the mind.

Don’t expect to crush 5 workouts in a row and meal prep. Instead, pack your gym bag, or lay it out ready to go in the morning. Hit that one workout. It’ll give you a little fuel and confidence. Hit another - and so on.

It’s the 1% accumulation that adds up and changes the game for you - not the all out montages of transformation.

Have a plan for the gym so you remove the barrier of figuring out what to do - this will literally save your brain juice for the stuff that matters.

ALSO - take some damn pressure of yourself; you aren’t going to change the game in a day, a week or a month. See the value in the small actions and know that’s where life’s work gets done. Try to avoid living in your head and take action as much as possible - THIS is what creates that feeling of momentum and eliminates the constant need to get yourself up and ‘motivated’. You. Got.
