[EN ➡️] The sun's rays on my face make me feel good. Their warmth in these days gives me hope about spring. But the biting wind just remembers me that it's still too early. #frameoflifestyle #redhairinaframe

I‘ve spent the past few days reading lots of “Instagram poetry” as I’ve been updating my post on books to read if you loved milk & honey and it is just soo hit and miss 🙈 One I really liked was Sea of Strangers by @LangLeav so I’m keen to read her other collections 📚 You can check out my thoughts on 10 poetry books I’ve read in my latest post on whatshotblog.com (link in bio) ✨ Are you a fan of poetry? What do you think about “Instagram poetry”?
I've had this SIP (Stitch In Progress) literally for YEARS. It's the piece I work on when I sell at events, because it's literally one color and the pattern is two bold stripes and three hearts. Easy Peasy, right? THEN WHY HAVEN'T I FINISHED IT?! Also - who's got tips on how to remove the yellow edges on the Aida without making the red floss bleed like the PITA that it is into the fabric?
It has been a very productive day so far! ✨ I even took my guitar in for maintenance (it’s been too long). I’m so looking forward to more song covers in the near future! ☺️

Here it is! Your first look at the reveal of our co-founder, Jacqui's bedroom makeover 😍😍. From dark & dingy home office (SWIPE to see the hideous before), to an uber glam & feminine bedroom. Head over to the blog (link up top) to see the full tour & source list. Would love to know what you think?
Here’s some more of #myunreadshelf for ya! I really, really want to read this, but I don’t know when I’m going to get to it tbh.
I also still really need to read Motherhood by Sheila Heti, I’ve heard excellent things about it.
What’s some nonfiction that you’d recommend?
When you really wish your Strawberry Fields protein smoothie was a burger and fries 🍟
Current cravings: carbs and sugar all day eryday🙄 Any other preggos with me!? @grainandberry#18weekspregnant#pregnant

Not even a year ago? TDP didn't have a social media strategist [at all], and we ab.solutely needed one, so we put a job ad out and subsequently went through the interview process.
When we got down to the final shortlist, we literally couldn't make a decision between these x2, because clever, and incredible experience, and *perfect* cultural fit, and so much emotional intelligence displayed in all of their responses when we interviewed them.
So it was me who suggested, "should we actually bring on both?" and so we did, and my goodness, ... I can't even begin to imagine TDP without them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It might feel like a leap at the time, but I relate so much to my beautiful friend @tess_robinson from @smackbangdesigns who described on a podcast that she's always lead by gut when it comes to the realisation, "we need to hire again" and I'm very much so similar, i.e I can just *feel* [even before a meeting with our accountant where we crunch numbers, and get realistic about it all] when we need a new team member, from a workflow perspective.
We recently put a job ad out for a Community & Content Manager, and wouldn't you know it? ... our final x2 candidates presented the same dilemma, i.e both outstanding, and our guts told us again, ... go for it. Bring on both. [sorry Fi, i.e our accountant, you were on holidays and we made this decision without crunching numbers, ha!].
This Monday? Our first Community & Content Manager starts [and we can't *wait* to introduce her], closely followed by our second CM, and [really hilariously] if there was any doubt? ... we went and landed not one, not two, but *three* incredible clients [I think mostly because we actually *knew* we could say yes, given the fact that our time was about to expand again].
YAY TDP. x
