I’ve shared with y’all before how I FINALLY lost weight and kept it off. My philosophy is SO MUCH SIMPLER than all of the million different things you find online when you google “how to lose weight.” You can get lost in a bazillion different methods and strategies that end up making you feel RESTRICTED and like you’re on a diet that you cannot wait to get off of.

Here’s how: fill your day with foods that you LOVE that make you feel FULL and SATISFIED! Find those few recipes that are good for you that you KNOW are helping you along your journey. That you are actually excited to eat. You are not on a DIET anymore. You are simply filling up your “calorie budget” for the day with foods you love that LOVE YOU BACK. It’s that easy. The body is mathematical, and speaks in calories in versus calories out.

If you start doing this, there is no more second guessing if you will gain weight with what you just ate, no more being mad at yourself after indulging - if it’s all there, budgeted into your calories for the day, you WILL LOSE WEIGHT. You can now shut that annoying voice in your head up who constantly second guesses your food choices and makes you feel guilty!!!

    I’ve shared with y’all before how I FINALLY lost weight and kept it off. The answer is yes!! 😳
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Literally, it’s my daily struggle.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you think I got it all figured out and living the good life you are mistaken.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
No matter how much you do, it will always feel like you’re not doing enough.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is because we’re aware that we’re capable of more.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We never quite feel secure enough in this world, because life is so fragile.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s our awareness of our potential and our awareness of the fragility of life that fuels us.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s how we develop GRIT. (Imperative)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We want more, because we believe we’re capable of it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That it will bring us further security.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But but but....
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We’ll never be totally satisfied or secure in this life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There’s always more to be done and something to be concerned about.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But hey!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That doesn’t mean we can’t have peace or some level of security.

It just means it will never be perfect and fear will visit us from time to time.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As long as you know in your heart you’re taking the “RIGHT” action day in and day out.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You will inevitably CRUSH it 💯.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • Happy with the progress I’ve made. Didn’t realize how far I have come till I put the pics together. Thanks to @jgerb182 for motivating me to start working out and to @heatherconway283 for letting me get to the gym as much as I can. Left picture is around August 2018, middle is after working out for around 2 months at home, then I slacked for a month and did almost no working out, right is today after going to the gym for around 2.5-3 months. #dynafituniversity #workout #fitness #progress @dynafituniversity

  • I've been waiting alllll day for this meal! Chipotle shrimp lettuce boats and Buffalo & Garlic Parm wings! (We totally bought the wrong wings but oh well they were still good!) All done in the air fryer! •
Wings cooked with a tiny spritz of EVOO @ 380 for 15 min then flipped and another 10 min @ 370 then coated with either the buffalo or butter with garlic sauce and cooked another 5 min @ 380 (parm sprinkled last)

Shrimp coated in a little EVOO seasoned with garlic, pepper, Cajun seasoning, lemon pepper seasoning, cayenne pepper cooked in the air fryer @ 370 for 12 min (threw the jalapenos on top the last 3 min)

Placed shrimp in romaine lettuce boats and topped with Chipotle mayo (primal mayp blended up Chipotle peppers) and added a little cheese and avocado and BOOM! #wings #shrimptacos #lettuceboats

  • *swipe to see a horribly boring pic of me* 🍽 Dinner tonight was black bean last, broccoli, and sautéed chicken breasts that were breaded with almond flour and some no salt garlic herb seasoning. Oh and I also added some cottage cheese to give it a creamy cheese feel.  Added sriracha of course.  It looks boring but it was so good 😊
