Anti-trans pundits keep accusing me of “redefining womanhood” so I’m going to roll with it. However, I still believe in justice for both real women and cis women. Just because a cis woman didn’t spend years thinking about her gender doesn’t mean she’s not as valid as trans women. Cis women are just being their authentic selves and deserve support too. They even sometimes go through their own gender journeys with fashion, media, and experimentation. I see no reason why we can’t support our female cisters, who are just like us despite being assigned female at birth by a doctor. Feminism means respecting all women: actual women and cis women alike.
I shot a night with @rianmoments at @rudeboyhobart. I wrote about it too (link is in my bio). It's the most important shoot I've done to date. Exactly where I want to be and what I want to be doing.
There will be a further delay in ensuring there is enough PrEP available in England to meet need.
NHS Englad has agreed to double the number of places on the PrEP trial to 26,000. However, we have now heard that the new places will not yet be made available, and that there are worries that clinics might not be able to cope with these places.
People in need of PrEP are being turned away and some of them are later contracting HIV.
