HOT STUFF!🔥 Just kidding, maybe my dumbest video ever. But I want to use it as a kind of motivation. The first video is from 28. July 2017. My second and third time in ramp ever. Baby steps. Just knew how to turn and push, no fakie-backward skating, no bombs, no airs, barely can manage it to the coping. The second one is from September 2018. Just a year difference. Still lame footage, far from perfection, but unlocked 360, rock´n´roll, 180´s, stalls, airs. Skating taught me a lot of things. Fall and get up again, improved my orientation, I have known a lot of new people and places thanks to it. It was not always funny, but it absolutely caught me and it's the best thing that ever met me. Just give it a maximum of passion, do not give up after a fall and you will be rewarded. And in a week, a month, a year you can fully appreciate that outcome.
Dear Queer Peers! This awesome POC led initiative was inspired by @teamindigenousrollerderby and the panel facilitated by @mickroseswagger at @rollercon ✨ The closed group is a safe space for BIPOC to share their experiences and potentially organize a similar panel for Euro Roller Derby Organisational Conference (EROC - which is happening in February). ➡️ You can easily find the group by searching “A Roller Derby Call for Inclusivity in Europe” 📩 Or you can DM us for the link ✨
