Walking on the beach offers so many benefits and I’m blessed to live just a short drive from the ocean. I walk as often as I can and much prefer the beach to the sterility of a treadmill. With the ocean air blowing through my hair and the relaxing sound of the waves crashing, stress just melts away. Researchers have found that the rhythmical sound of waves alters brain patterns, promoting a deeply relaxing, almost meditative state that rejuvenates both body and mind. The negative ions in sea air have been shown to increase the ability to absorb oxygen. I also get a dose of vitamin D and wellbeing as I watch the changing colours of the sea and sky, collect a shell or two and pat the happy dogs that scamper by. Walking in sand uses more energy and effort than pounding the pavement, and acts as a natural cushion for our joints. And going barefoot, even for a short distance, connects us directly to nature and grounds us as we touch the earth and dip our feet into the cool water. #healthylifestyle#beach#walk

After last Sunday’s trail run. I managed to crack a smile for the photo but inside I was disappointed with my efforts. But, shit happens - you have good days and you have bad days and both can be influenced by various factors.
The last time Adelaide welcomed @handslikehouses was at the enigma bar. This time it was HQ. What's next? Theb? Then the Entertainment Centre? Then skipping Adelaide all together like every other big name artists? 😂 😂
Such a good show!
Wow 😍😍 how gorgeous is Innes National Park?? Such a short drive away!! Repost @southaustralia
Nothing to see here… Just your average day walking on water in @yorkepeninsula! Our mate @riptideprints_ had a pretty good look around #Inneston not long ago… Tucked deep within the coastal mallee of Innes National Park, this once-thriving gypsum mining town was abandoned back in the 1930’s, leaving behind a historic ghost town – complete with its own incredible #saltlake ! #SeeSouthAustralia 👣💦💙 #SeeAustralia#Australia
Perlubie Beach sunsets 😍😍😍 Wow what a location on the @eyrepeninsula and what amazing sunsets. A west facing beach in @southaustralia with the sun setting over the water each night.
Awesome day today, a little warm, but plenty of fishing, boating and swimming fun, mixed up with lego, sand castles and games.
Head over to our Instagram for locations and experiences. Facebook has lifestyle on the road and location summaries, Youtube has our latest Episodes of our Lap of Australia. Hope you will follow along on the journey.
Great Grand Prix racing. 🏆1st -Mark, 2nd - Simon, 3rd was a draw but went to Adrian who had the fastest lap out of the two of them 🏆🏎🏎🏁

Did you know we do sample bags?
These have been so popular we’ve had to call in the apprentices to help with marking the wood!
Each bag contains 2kg of wood with up to 5 varieties of wood (your choice of any we have in stock)
Perfect for a beginner who isn’t sure what they like - or someone who wants to do some experimenting with some of our rarer varieties
Available through our website(link in bio) or at selected butchers and bbq stores around Adelaide

Wisteria aren't in full bloom at the moment, but they're incredible when they are! Here some tips for maximising your bloom 👌
🍂 Wisteria only blooms on new wood, so pruning is a must.
🍂 Late winter is the best time for the major prune. Be quite aggressive and only leave a few buds per stem.
🍂 If you want to keep it looking neat and tidy, prune it lightly in summer after it has flowered during its main bloom. Especially focus on the new random shoots that grow super quickly, try cutting them off every couple of weeks.
🍂 Don't forget to fertilise and mulch for that extra boost!!
