Did someone say noodles? 🏃🏻♀️ I didn’t know much about Myanmar cuisine before I went, but we ended up having some of the best food there. Make sure to try Shan noodles if you go!
(EN) Welcome to Sudan!
After many buses, minibuses, taxis, tuk tuks, and camels we are finally here!
I should be honest it wasn’t easy to process the visa requirements and the language barrier in Sudan is tough, but you know what, the lack of other tourists makes this country so enjoyable.
You can find yourself exploring ancient pyramids all by yourself without getting disturbed.
Do you travel off the beaten trek to avoid the masses of tourists?
The 2 first persons that guess the name of this place will get a shoutout.

Bienvenido a Sudán! 🇸🇩

Feeling at home ✨
~
One of the highlights of this trip was staying in @albaitsharjah in the heart of Sharjah, a labyrinth where it’s easy to get lost but at the same time, feel at home - and that’s exactly what it means in Arabic!
~
On another note, I think this is my most iconic insta-pose! I want to start a hashtag so I can see your photos replicating this, any ideas? Let’s do a brainstorming guys, together we can make it!

Before you ask: my dress is from @fortunateonestore 💕

Our first picture in Dubai of course HAD to be with the iconic Burj Khalifa!🙏🏻 This building blows our minds every time we are lucky enough to lay our eyes on it! 🤩
So excited to be able to spend some time in the Middle East! 💃🏼 This region has always fascinated us so much and we can’t wait to explore more of it! ✨

Sat down, wrote goals and one of them was Dubai 2019 (iA) 🙏 #natgeoyourshot
I am so encouraged to reach the 1000 follower mark. Like, whaaaattt?? There's 1000 people out there that wanna see what I'm up to and like what I do?
.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
.
I have truly been on a journey since starting this account. I started posting while on "holiday" at "home" in India and Nepal.
.
Then I was back in NZ and struggled with depression, because let's be honest, I miss India, I was grieving the loss of my home. Over the year, as I have found healing, I have been slowly appreciating NZ more and more.
.
Now, I try to treat my new "home" as a "holiday," playing tourist in my own city. It has been such an adventure and NZ, you have SO MUCH to offer .
It couldn't be more different from home in India, but it is still so so so beautiful in such a different way.
.
THANK YOU to every one of you for following my journey.
.
Lastly, the biggest shout-out to my HUSBAND for being my number one cheerleader. I couldn't do this without you, I wouldn't be here without you in my life.
.
If you've made it this far, comment 🎆🎇🎉🎊 so I can individually thank each one of you for being here ❤
