  • Shoulders are one of the most satisfying muscle groups for me to train.

The range and variety of movements (presses, lifts, raises, pulls), along with being able to see them work, is both satisfying and motivating.

These lateral raises are always a go-to as part of my warm up: 15-20 reps for 2 sets, along with some mobility & dynamic stretching, and I’m ready to start my working sets.

Check out those cool off-set handles on these dumbbells from @powertecfitness which is where I was filming yesterday and shooting for @leorever.official for their new 2019 compression wear (singlets, full sleeve, full tights, 3/4, shorts, and more) - check out my IG Story for more from this shoot and direct links.

  • #soundon for me and @nelcpoles 😜 so I’ve been working on getting #stronger for the past year with @ptthepole and one goal we’ve worked on is my #pdayesha which I didn’t have before. I hate jumping (really it’s the landing part) and told her I wanted to #deadlift into it. We’ve been working with @rubberbanditz to help — I was doing my conditioning per normal and was showing Nellie who is also working on her #pdhandspring 😊 I got the band set up on her pole, explained how to do it and walked to my pole proclaiming that despite all this practice, I’d never be able to do it and then I did it! Ok there’s a teeny tiny hop but still. I got so excited, I said let’s do a #reanactment and was surprised when I did it again! 😳 Do you want to get 💪 ????? Then you really should work with @neolacycletramp who is the #mastermind behind the Pole PT. On the pole and off the pole workouts customized not only to you but to the equipment you have available. You don’t need to join a #mugglegym and you don’t even need a pole! I can’t recommend her enough for giving me the tools and the progressions to get stronger despite working a #dayjob , traveling, teaching 10+ hours a week , running #polecon and all the other things (like being a cranky old lady) that impact my ability and time to #train ❤️❤️❤️ oh, and I haven’t lost one bit of flexibility. I’m bendier now then I’ve ever been!!! #poletrickoftheday #girlswithmuscle #poledancer #poledance #polefitness #workout #iliftpeople #pdtruegrip #pdhandspring #shoulderworkout #redhead #fitchicks #strongwomen
