It doesn’t need to be a famous monument for a building to shout ‘Paris’. I loved this building at the Cnr of Rue Victor Masse & Ave Frochot. It was the last corner we turned into each evening returning to our hotel on my first trip to Paris. I loved that light-well built against the end wall ready to go to work should a six-floor building be built on the vacant space alongside. Anyone recognise it?
Nothing gives you quite the cultural experience like rolling (literally) into a random Mexican town. I cut it a little too close and didn't leave myself a good landing option and was lucky to make it to this field. I didn't have enough altitude to turn into the wind so this is what it looks like to land with a 10mph tailwind. I'm happy to give landing pointers.
The last trip before new year, we went to pasar tani at Johore Bahru. One of photo I took was this Apam Balik (its like a Pancake with Peanut, Corn and sugar as filling). I thought to challenge myself using minimal color pallet in watercolours for base and shading. All turn out nicely until I go over using violet pen as the lines 😓. Seriously can I cry now.
