I really wanted to give a honest review, so I tried it for a month and here I'm with my take on this moisturiser.
First things first, it is made of a lot of good ingridients.
❤️ It has Shea Butter, Bee Wax, Jojoba oil, Sweet Almond nut oil, Argan oil, Avacado oil, Pomegranate Seed oil, Rose oil etc.
❤️ It promises to bring back the glow to the skin after repeated use.
❤️ It is handmade in small batches to give the customers the very best.
❤️ No harmful chemicals used.
So, after using it for about 20 days, I found that my skin doesn't really feel very dry (I have super dry skin). And there is a certain after sheen to my skin. So, I would say, if you have a dry skin, you can certainly give this a try, coz if regular use of 20 days is showing me this result, then its just worth a try.
Can I use a facial oil if I have oily skin 🤔✨? The answer is a million times YES! If you have oily skin, chances are that you avoid anything that even contains the world "oil" in fear that it'll make your skin worse! .
Fun fact: Oily skin is caused by the body not having ENOUGH oil, so it over produces to make up for it! But using a facial oil will actually decrease your natural oil production and help repair your skin naturally 💪😍! .

I don’t know why I keep buying all these blushes when I only wear the @jilliandempsey cheek tint every single day... I already hit pan on it and I can’t wait to get more colors!
On another note, I decluttered my makeup collection and it could be all stored in a medium sized shoe box which I am very proud of. I want to become more mindful about what I spend my money on and stop buying makeup that I am not in love with.
The #drunkelephant lippe balm has quickly became one of my favourite this season. Light but moisturising enough for my lips and goes well under any lipstick and reapplication too. The cute stubby size is a plus too!
The #odacite aventurine lip serum is a great topper if you want the extra hydration seal. It rolls on slippery-ly(if that’s a word) but dries down pretty quick. I wouldn’t suggest using this alone if you tend to have very dry lips as it doesn’t last as long as a traditional balm consistency would. I’m going in for the Vit C & CoQ10 goodies 🤣 #keeprollin
Water drench hyaluronic cloud cream hydrating moisturiser
got these two in a set for Christmas from @beautybaycom think it was the jet set facial kit but I haven’t used one of the products yet to do a full review so I thought I’d just talk about how much I love these two!
For someone who has combination skin and not really dry at all I thought I’d just like these alright and not see a difference but I was wrong. I used the moisturiser first and was so surprised how light the texture was but how hydrated my skin felt and continued to feel throughout the day! It has 30% hyaluronic acid which retains up to 1,000 times it weight in water providing your skin with continuous hydration for up to 72 hours. This is definitely my go to morning moisturiser especially when it’s been so cold! Again with the cleanser I wasn’t expecting much but was surprised with how much I like it, the texture of it genuinely feels cloud like (dunno how that’s possible lol) it feels soo soft and luxurious when you’re rubbing it in and there is no scent which is a bonus! My biggest thing with cleansers especially a morning cleanse is I don’t like it to feel drying or like it’s stripping my skin while I’m cleansing, for me this is the opposite it actually feels like moisturiser more that a normal cream cleanser which is another plus! If you have dry/dehydrated/sensitive skin this is such a good duo to buy!! You can get these two in a set from @beautybaycom for £17 thr set is called hyaluronic happy hour! And because full size are more expensive the 2 minis for under £20 is such a win so see how you get on before committing to full size! kinda sad over how much I love them because now I obviously have to buy full size lmao

Our serums deliver a potent shot of active ingredients directly into your skin that moisturisers alone can’t do.
Not all heroes wear capes. 💃🏼 Some come in bottles. @Meladerm contains over 10 advanced ingredients to brighten skin and reduce discolorations caused from age, acne, pregnancy or sun exposure. ✨ #civant#civantskincare

The first two steps in reducing sensitivity and improving the function of a damaged barrier layer are:
1. Stop further damage
For this we recommend swapping makeup remover for face halos and a mild, naturally-based cleanser and using a water-based active serum instead of moisturiser. Use Bf serum daily until the first bottle is used up to repair damaged cells. Tryptophan is a phytonutrient found in finger lime that works to repair damaged skin cells at the deeper layer.
Cleansing creams and cleansing milks feel so nourishing in cold weather ❄️... but do you know how to apply and remove them the right way? 🤔 If not, they could be doing more harm than good for your skin!

evening skincare routine with retinol💫
1️⃣ double cleanse with @glossier milky jelly. non-foaming, non-irritating, and non-drying.
2️⃣ spritz @indie_lee coq10 toner a few times onto a cotton pad and swipe over face. soothing and mildly hydrating. this is my 2nd bottle.
3️⃣ pat a few drops of @amorepacific_us vintage single extract essence. my skin loves the antioxidant-packed green tea formula. after 3 months of using this every am/pm, this refined and clarified my skin tone. very expensive so try samples first. make sure skin is dry before moving onto next step.
4️⃣ spread 1.5 pumps of @katesomervilleskincare eradikate salicylic acid acne treatment w/ retinyl propionate all over face. this retinol form is especially gentle and effective on my sensitive acne-prone skin. i use it 2-5 times per week; it depends on my other skin conditions (sensitivity, eczema). consistency for the last 7+ months is key to seeing results: fewer breakouts, dramatically lightened hyperpigmentation, and minimized pores appearance. make sure skin is dry before moving onto next step.
5️⃣ mix 3 drops of @indie_lee squalane facial oil with a pea-sized amount of @drjart ceramidin cream. this duo is super nourishing for my skin barrier, preventing dry or tight skin because of the retinol treatment.

It’s Family Day for some of us here in Canada and what better day to introduce my sister to this page! My sister and I have both been obsessed with skincare for years but we have very different experiences. One reason being how extremely different our skin is. I have normal to oily skin while hers is very dry and eczema prone. We have been chatting for a while about this and she has finally decided to join me on this skincare journey! 👭 We will be working together to curate this blog and hopefully getting it to be what we have envisioned. In the meantime, continue reading for her first review! 😊
For my very first post, I’ll be doing a #minimonday and #maskmonday combo!
Finding skincare products that don’t irritate or dry out my eczema prone skin has always been a struggle for me. For quite some time, I searched for a product that could work its magic overnight, as I would often wake up with incredibly dry and flaky skin.
I recently came across the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask and boy did it deliver! This water based product deeply moisturizes, hydrates and brightens my skin as I sleep! 😍 I now use this mask 2 times a week as part of my night time routine.
The ingredients used in this mask have some wonderful benefits for the skin:
Evening Primrose Extract Benefits:
✅Brightens and evens skin tone
Apricot Extract Benefits:
✅Smoothens and softens skin
A word of caution though - the Calming Sleepscent contains essential oils. Although it has not been an issue for me, for some, essential oils can irritate the skin.
What’s your favourite sleep mask?
P.S. I’m so thrilled to be joining this community and I can’t wait to share more with you! 💕 B
