Petrichor (/ˈpɛtrɪkɔːr/) is the earthy scent produced when rain falls on dry soil. The word is constructed from Greek petra (πέτρα), meaning "stone", and īchōr (ἰχώρ), the fluid that flows in the veins of the gods in Greek mythology.
“If u carry ur childhood with u, u never become older”
In my veryyyyy early days of my childhood I remember how I along with my sis, aunts n mom n granny used to go walk all the way to these ponds to take a dip n have fun. I remember vividly the path, the trees, the smell of the soil. Today as I take a stroll along these trails I get nostalgic n wish to relive those moments again. We grow up we move on but there is this small part of our childhood that is still kept safe inside our heart which tries to come out once in a blue moon. I take pride that I still can go back to those moments n cherish them whenever I want #nostalgia#childhoodmemories#sky#trees#bambooforest#lushgreen#pond#smellofsoil#livelife#happysoul#happyme#intothewilderness#nativeplace#backtochildhooddays
