THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES is the new short film from one of our favourite directors, Louis Norton Selzer, having its industry screening this Thursday 21st February at Soho House, Dean Street. The film sees Joel Fink - a bored twenty-something looking for some excitement in an otherwise dull life – have a curious encounter outside a travel agent which pulls him into an unusual world where he’s offered an even more unusual proposition. Follow the link in our bio to watch the trailer. Congratulations Louis! :
Panel member: @yungsweglawd aka Black Josh is the prolific 25 year old ‘cult leader’/producer/MC who is running any number of cults from Liverpool to London and everywhere in between. From Ape Cult with @wallianape to the Blah cult @blahrecords (to which he’s signed), the Cult of the Damned and probably another at the time of going to Insta, he is one of the most relentless recording artists of the phone- Beat Generation.
After releasing his eponymous debut album last November, he is now back creating yet more bizarre videos and sounds for 2019. His point of sonic reference is from Nokia and Blackberry; his historical archive, his parents’ generation of hip hop, R n B and jungle.
