I've been getting this question a lot lately, sooo... Here's how I get my wings!
During the early #Summer to Autumn months, #cicadas start to emerge from their underground nymph stage where they transform into their winged adult stage taking flight to swarm the #trees . Their adult stage is only a few weeks long to breed, and then they die and drop from the trees, their life cycle complete. After that I collect them. Living on several wooded acres really helps too! Luckily I have some #amazing#friends and followers I've connected with that #donate their winged finds to me to #create with. I also work with #butterfly and #moth breeders that raise #caterpillars to release into the #wild populations that send me the ones that don't make it. Estate sales and little antique or thrift stores have also scored me amazing finds from old #insect collections, to shadowboxes, and other neat things.
Cicadas, dragonflies, moths, butterflies, etc, all have such a #natural delicate beauty to them, but in comparison to people they have such short little lives. What I create with their wings is a way for me to immortalize their beauty and #spirit , so we can all remember and appreciate them in a #magical way! 💕

Do you enjoy work? Do you thank God for your job and your health to work it?
Our Bible says, "You will eat bread by the sweat of your brow until you return to the ground, since you were taken from it. For you are dust, and you will return to dust.”
Genesis 3:19 HCSB
Yes the ground was cursed due to sin, but praise God He still provides for our needs through the earth that He created for us. The work you do today may be difficult and tiring, but we should still thank God for it because it is His gift to us - the ability to provide for our needs. Thank Him today for this amazing gift and pray for the ability to work as unto the Lord in ALL You do. Remember to do all that You do for His glory. EVERYDAY!! Have a blessed day 😎
In Christ love
All for His glory, EVERYDAY!
The Great #Persian#Poet
Khwaja Shams-Din Muḥammad Ḥafeẓ-e Shirazi (Persian: خواجه شمسالدین محمد حافظ شیرازی), known by his pen name #Hafiz , was born in the Iranians southwestern city of Shiraz. He was a great Persian mythical poet who is remembered nowadays for his lyrical poetry written in Ghazals, a difficult and uniquely Persian verse-form. Ghazal as the sonnet-like poem was primarily used to describe celebrating wine and earthly pleasure, but Hafiz revolutionized this form. His poems have a strong #mystical quality and regular references to #wine , courtship, and #nightingales which have been interpreted in different ways. Most of his poems are a mirror of an eternal #spirit .

Ether 4: 11 "For because of my Spirit he shall know that these things are true; for it persuadeth men to do good.”
• [Notice it is “good” not "well." I think this is grammatically correct because "good" in this usage is a noun (what to do) and the object of the verb; versus the use of the adverb “well” (how we do it).]•
