Living An Unauthentic Life // Do you remain true to yourself in everything you do? •
In the beginning of 2018, I sat with @michelledalzon, Founder of @ourbomdotcom (The Black-Owned Market), to discuss her fear of not living an authentic life, the importance of her Haitian heritage and why peace is more important than stability in entrepreneurship. •
You are biding your time before the Moulmeins and Barnas bloom. But Delhi trees keep surprising you even in these slow months.
From the Sunderwala Mahal you can see the familiar pink rubies glinting in the winter air. Are those really Cherry Blossoms? It is not possible! But if they can have a mangrove tree in Lodhi Gardens (still unable to locate it) they can grow Cherry Blossom trees here. After further investigations and discussions with fellow visitors we reach the verdict that this is a peach tree and these pink flowers are as cheery and pretty as their cousins in Kohima and Ukhrul.
These days discovering rare trees is as endorphin inducing as these newly restored monuments in Sunder Nursery. A week later you spot more peach trees on the Tulip Festival Day!

Yessssss !! For a long time I knew God was calling me for more but I said no because my story was not like everybody else’s. I wasn’t the “I’ve been in the church my whole life” type. I didn’t fit that mold so I felt like I couldn’t do what God wanted of me
