Just a thought, people sometimes say without Assad Syria will be stable. Firstly, religious minorities would be in danger, there is nothing more those terrorists would want but to kill them. Also, these "rebels" are split into MANY factions, all of which hate each other. As we can see in Idlib, rather than govern, they kill and pillage. How can they run a country like Syria? Also, some countries are reopening their embassies in Damascus and are willing to invest in Syria. Some refugees have returned home to aid with reconstruction. Most importantly, the killing when Bashar takes over stops. Stability returns, people can leave their homes knowing they won't be dodging bullets and bombs. But of course the imperialists won't want this, they want to split Syria on sectarian lines in a almost Sykes-picot styled manner.
